I don't think Jazz was really done any favors by having to become a combiner limb in the latest interpretation, though for the most part the execution of that feature in the toy went just fine. But there are some engineering problems, joint tolerance issues, and more really detracting from this toy. Which is a shame given how I really like where the vehicle mode went and I so wish I could feel the same about most of the rest of it. To find out all the details, click here to watch our review of Power of The Primes Jazz!

Ochre Haze, all in my brainAfter First Strike, Optimus Prime retains a full schedule. Funerals, politics... and finding the first new life on Cybertron in millions of years. All this, plus Throttlebots! The Dead Come Home (Part 1 of 2) is written by John Barber with art by Livio Ramondelli. Click here to read the review!

Today we finish out the video reviews for Power of The Primes Legends wave 1 with the brand new Dinobot, Slash. We can't say whether we'd call Slash the best of the wave, but that's partly because all three new molds turned out very nice! What we can offer is that Slash is the most different we've gotten in a little while, which does give her a certain value that the other two can't match. How that all stacks up ultimately will be for you to decide, but you can get a head start by watching our video review right here.

We've got one more video review to share with you today, this one for Legends Class Beachcomber, the Autobot Mini-car update fans have been waiting years to get. And it's good! In the coming days we'll br finsihing out the new molds from the Legends Class wave 1, as well as bringing you our looks at the full first assortment of Deluxes. Not to mention high quality galleries for all of them! In the meantime, Click here to watch the Beachcomber review.

Following the lead of the Deluxes, Power of The Primes Legends Class figures have begun appearing at Targets in the US, and I was lucky enough to be near a location with stock on hand! So this evening we've got a video review for the brand new Windcharger ready for you to have a look at. It's a pretty good toy whose worst problem seems to be a bad deco choice on the head - any other issues don't stand out nearly as much. Click here to go to the review!

Fresh from our forums, chuckdawg1999 has brought us a two-in-one video covering the first two Dinobots in Power of The Primes. Deluxes Swoop and Slug (Slag) have beaten Grimlock out to retail by a little bit in the US, so we get to see how one of the first Classics-family updates for the rest of the Dinobot team turn out before we find out about the latest take on the oft-revisited. You can find the review video embedded below!

The Centurion chase continues as the Revolutionaries work with Arcee to rescue two of their own! But who needs rescued... and who has other plans? Transformers: First Strike #1 is written by John Barber with art by Priscilla Tramontano with colors by Joana Lafuente. Click here to read the review!

Aileron's team of colonist soldiers finds Jazz in Mexico - but it's not a happy reunion. Out at Sanctuary Station, Thundercracker's busywork points to a minor mystery that may swing back around to some larger events. All this, and trying not to start a war between Earth and Cybertron! "Primeless, part 2" written by John Barber, art by Andrew Griffith, colors by Josh Burcham. Click here to go to the review!

Issue 10 of Lost Light which hit shops earlier this past month kicks off the "Mutineers Trilogy", finally taking us back to the ship for the first time since Rodimus and company got the boot over a year ago. Over the course of that time, I have not had good feelings about the series, regardless of which name it happened to be going by at the time. That wasn't a new situation; the 40s of More Than Meets The Eye really struck me the wrong way and started the process of falling out. But despite dropping Lost Light from my monthly read, I wanted to come back and see how this anticipated storyline would play out. (keep reading!)

Just in tonight from the RFC Reviews channel, we've got a video review by diecast for the Generation Toy Tyrant, a figure based on IDW Megatron in his stealth bomber phase. Having appeared previously in toy form as a small Deluxe in the official Generations lineup in 2013, this larger format might find more appeal for its general scale, coming in just a bit taller than MP-10 Optimus. We've got the video embedded below, click through to have a look!

It's almost time for the big ceremony admitting Earth to the Cybertronian Council of Worlds! ...wait, I feel like we've been here before. Have we been here before? Well, yes - but not from the Revolutionaries' point of view! RevolutionariesOptimus Prime: First Strike #1 is written by John Barber with art by Guido Guidi and John Wycough, with coloring by Thomas Deer. Click here to read the review!

Stardrive has had it - with Autobots, with Decepticons, with Dire Wraiths, and even with her fellow Solstar Knights. So then, what is she going to do about it? Rom Vs. Transformers: Shining Armor #4 is written by John Barber and Christos Gage, with art by Alex Milne and colors by Josh Perez. Click here to go to the review!

Things are going a bit wrong. The delegation from Earth has traveled to Cybertron, as has a group of the Earth-based Transformers in order to work out entry to the Council of Worlds. But an untimely explosion, cut off communications, and tensions are rising quickly. With Optimus Prime and Arcee off world and out of reach, Aileron has to take command. She is so going to hate this day. "Primeless, Part 1", written by John Barber, art split among Sara Pitre-Durocher, Fico Ossio, Paolo Villanelli, and Kei Zama, with colors for all by Josh Burcham. Joe Colton has to be stopped and Scarlett and her team are the only ones with the knowledge that Optimus Prime needs. So it's time to bust them out of prison! But it's not going to be that simple - on any level. First Strike #5 is written by Mairghread Scott and David A. Rodriguez, with art by Max Dunbar, color by Ander Zarate with inking assistance from John Wycough, and lettering by Tom B. Long. Backup story The Origins of Evil, Part Five: One Unholy Machine is written by John Barber with pencils by Netho Diaz, inks by Walden Wong, and colors by David Garcia Cruz.Click here to go to the review!
