Omega Prime - RiD - Figures

What do you get when you combine Optimus Prime and Ultra Magus? Easy, one very cool looking and highly hard to play with robot. This is a short review, so just bare with me. Fully combined mode: After clicking all the parts together and cursing each time the body armour falls off until you finally click it together, you will finally have yourself a very sweet and mean looking robot. The Magus cab is a great idea for armour and the hands, while annoying at points, look great. Can even stand a whole basic Transformer on one hand, did that with my basic Prowl and Scourge. After spending a little time getting this 14 inch high guy to stand right, I then proceeded to fit his weapons on and that caused another ten minutes of refitting the armour back on, finally got it though and the result is nice. If you manage to have all the button pressed you'll get a very nice, 'OMEGA FIRE!' voice and then the sounds of the gun firing. I even managed to fit Prime's gun into onto one of the small holes in the left arm, it looked great. The head even lights up when you press the sound button, a nice touch. I like this combined mode, even though it is hard to pose right since the weight of the back pack is annoying. Here's hoping the next super combined mode of Prime is without such an annoying wight. A good solid mode, just be ready for prolonged sessions getting him to stand still. Nice toy, shame about the weight at the back.
