Found all four new Spychangers at Wal-Mart, along with repackaged versions of the first wave ones.
I'll start with Daytonus, him being my favourite Spychanger by far. Daytonus is an F-5 Formula race car that measures 7.5 cm(3") long and with a yellow, black, and silver colour scheme. His hubcaps are chrome silver. A small Autobot symbol is emblazoned on his back.
Like his Deluxe version, Side Burn is a blue Dodge Viper with gold windows and headlights and blue and white flame decos. He measures 7 cm(2.8") long. His hubcaps are chrome gold with six spokes as opposed to Daytonus's eight. Mine seems to be slightly defective, since his little gun won't stay
attached to his underside. Grrr.
Both Daytonus and Side Burn roll very well on most surfaces.
If you can't figure these guys out, then something's
seriously wrong with you.
In robot mode, Daytonus stands around 7 cm tall. His hips and robot head are white and his eyes are covered by a black visor. He has just two points of articulation in this mode; his shoulders. A thin black laser gun detaches from his underside and can be held in either fist. Due to the design of his vehicle mode, he's not as chesty as some of the other
Side Burn stands 6.5 cm(2.5") tall. His robot head is yellow with a black visor and his lower legs are white. His white rifle fits into either fist. Doesn't really look anything like Deluxe Side Burn in this mode, but still a neat little robot warrior.
Overall, Suspsy Sez
Previously, I'd never owned any GoBots/Spychangers, but now I can see the charm of these cute little guys. Cool vehicle modes, cute
robot modes, and even cuter guns. I'm pretty sure I'm going lose Side Burn's sooner or later, sigh.
Suspsy, I've already torn apart my rec room trying vainly to find one of BW Silverbolt's missiles, and one of Mechatron's.
