Kabaya Mini-cons - Micron Legend - Candy Toys

Hi folks-here's some pics and news on the Kabaya Micron sets. Not as good as Remy's, I know!

The plastic on these figs seems of better quality than the Takara ones. Certain metal joints have been replaced with plastic, causing, in some cases, less stress on the joints, like the legs (see pic). Also, the fin that becomes the torso on the Kabaya fig is more solid, allowing for smoother transformation.

The Star Saber is great. Although non-transparent, the sword holds together very well. The jets have ALL the painted details of the Takara original.

Perceptor and chums - They have all the sculpted details of the Takara version, but Arcee and Bank lack yellow painted details. However, Kabaya's paint details seem better than Takara's, which are not as tightly executed. Remy's pic shows this very well! On all the Kabaya toys, Kabaya's info replaces the "Takara/Hasbro" monograms on the toys.

Both purchases are great, but one wonders if there are too many Star sabers out and that the Street Action Team isn't a popular Micron set to begin with.

Maybe now Kabaya and some other Knock-off companies will release other (re-colored) Mini-cons?
