Scavenger & Rollbar - Armada - Figures

Construction vehicles as Transformers have been done a lot of times, the Constructicons were the best of that as well as the Build Team of RID. I think they should all be released to be honest, could have construction battles.

Bulldozer(?)mode: First his mini con, Rollbar. Rollbar appears to be a kind of beach buggy mini con, he's mostly white with some blacks. In robot mode, he has a red face and the white is mostly replaced with grey's. He's actually a pretty good mini con.

Ok, Scavenger. Scavenger is some kind of bulldozer, he has a large purple wheel at the back and has some nice detailing that shows his vehicle mode off to a nice degree. You can slot Rollbar into Scavenger's driver seat to activate one sound and if you roll Scavenger across the floor, he makes more sounds. But I've found that it only takes a slight touch to make his sounds start up.
He's mostly a bright green colour with some strong purple and a tiny red light at the top of the 'cab'. He has threads, real threads for a change. And rolls not too bad if you push him hard enough. Not a bad mode, he could be fun in a battle in this mode.

Robot mode: Hmm, now this is where it gets disappointing. After a slightly silly transformation, he's standing-kind of. He seems to be leaning forward really and he looks like a giant green brick. The wheel at the back of him hinders his standing and if you roll him forward, his feet move, in a way, with a stomping kind of sound. But I have to be honest here, his robot mode sucks big time, it is really bad. He could have been better, his gimmicks are annoying, even the missile one, and he just looks useless to be honest. What a disappointment.

So there, my view on a TF that was well waited for by many fans. I think he's naff, his gimmicks, while nice in some parts, are mostly annoying and they could have been left out really so he could have been given a better robot mode. So he's my least favourite of the Autobots in the Armada range and ranks along with Armada Cyclonus, in my view, as a huge disappointment and a huge insult to Transformers when compared to Armada Megatron and Starscream and G1 Prime and Prowl. Pity that, I thought he would be more fun.
