Wheejack & Windesheer - Armada - Figures

I recently purchased Wheeljack and out of all the cars, I am the most impressed with this one. The color scheme for one I love and the autobot scar with a small decepticon symbol underneath. His mini-con, Windsheer is in the same color scheme as well. It is funny that all the decepticions have matching mini-con and the autobots don't. oh well onto the review.

First, Windesheer. Windsheer appears to be a stealth fighter. out of all the jets thus far, he is by far my favorite. mainly because his transformation was easy and the fact that he jsut looks cool.

Like Most mini-cons, windsheer is easy to transform. Pull down his legs and turn them around and fold his feet down in place. Next bring his nose cone down to reveal his head.bring his wings back and move his arms forward and he his complete. He stands about the normal height of all the other mini-cons.

The powerlinx mode for Wheeljack and Windsheer is a neat feature. While WheelJack is in car mode, Place Windsheer on the roof or the car and press down. The doors will rise up and a pair of missles are ready to be fired. Only downside, the missles have to be fired manually by triggering a button right behind the missles. It is one of the more cooler powerlinx features I have seen in a while.

Wheeljack himself is probably the best transformer, in my own humble, in the armada line to pay tribute to the G1 line. his shape and form bring back memories of when I was a kid looking at the G1 line and trying to decide which one to get. That was one of the reason that persuaded me to get this one.

Vehicle mode: to transform him to robot is very simple. place Windsheer on the roof to open the doors and then bring his lower body down under the rest of him. Slide his legs aprat and flip them down until they lock into position. once locked, place the feet down and the "hind feet" down as well. trust me these help with him standing.

Bring his arms down and pull his arms away from his body. move his front part of his body forward and down to revel his face and lock it into position with the rest of the body. Place the two missle in his fists and he is ready to do battle with any autobot.

I give this trasnformer a 9 out of 10 just for the sole reason he was a different color than the package. other than that, If you have not bought one, Go and get one. He is well worth it!!
