Lazerbeak - Armada - Figure

Well Lazerbeak has arrived but I can bet it wasnt how people thought it would be. First off, its an Autobot when the G1 lazerbeak was a Decepticon. Secondly, he is WAY too big for how he looks in the show. Enough of that though. Now to the review.

BIRD MODE: In this mode not much at all can be done. He can have his feet and head moved and you can manually flap his wings if you want. He also had some electronic sounds.

GUN MODE: In this mode you can hold the gun and press the button on the handle for a gunshot sound. Personally, for the whole gun idea, I found the handle too small for my hand. Minus a point.

CAMCORDER MODE: n this mode, you can flip the screen open to show a static picture of Optimus.

GIMMICKS: The only gimmicks are tha sounds. You cant even attach a mini-con to him and he doesnt come with one himself. Minus 2 points

OVERALL: Lazerbeak is not worth the $15 I paid for him. He would have ALOT better off in mini-con size. Then he could hav turned into a gun to be held by a bigger figure or maybe even be held by Percepter (Street Action Mini-con team that combiens to form bigger robot. Its a skateboard, bike, and scooter). That would have given old Percepter a weapon. It also could have been used as a camcorder to be held by a mini-con or a bigger figure. Minus another point for the lack of though about just making him a mini-con. Final Score: 5 ou of 10.
