Unicron & Deadend - Armada - Figures

The Chaos Bringer is here, after weeks of making many phone calls to Target and bothering the employees... Wow this is a big toy, probably the biggest in my collection.

Anyways, we should start of with the minicon- Deadend. When he is transformed, he looks like a "Death Star" thing with a huge cannon sticking out of it, which is actually pretty cool. He is mostly black with a little yellow. This minicon is pretty cool, but the only one thing that I have a problem with is that one arm has a huge cannon and the other is like nothing. Couldn't the people at Hasbro put a fist there. Overall Deadend is a pretty cool minicon, suited for Unicron.

Finally Unicron himself- Standing at 16 inches, weighing at a monstrous 5 pounds... the Master of Disaster Unicron! Anyways enough of the Rocky stuff, now back to the toy. Man this guy is big, he could probably scare small children. Unicron has 4 horns 2 on his head, 2 on his shoulders. He has 3 missles on each leg that activates when you attach a minicon and push it forward. His right hand and eyes do this blinking thing, a switch would have been nice to keep the eyes and hand lit. Instead you get to push a button on his head, which makes the eyes blink, or flash. Then for the right hand you have to puch it then it flashes. Oh and Unicron has a monster cannon that pops out of his chest when you attach a minicon. ( You don't need a Star, or Dark Saber to make it do this, any minicon is fine. ) The wings or whatever you call it on Unicrons back is like really lose and those planet mode dome lid things also get in the way. You can remove them if you want to play with him, which is not recommended since he is heavy and after a while of play makes your wrists hurt. The last thing on this guy is the arm spike things which are kind of cool and all of the minicons he could carry.

When you try to transform Unicron into planet mode you have to remove this and that which is okay. When in planet mode, after all of that work, he looks like some deformed ball thing with a ring. He could hold alot of minicons in this mode also when you push the horns together, they cause a chomping action thing. Also in this mode he has a crater thing on the transparent dome thing for Deadend. Deadend falls off of Unicron to easily, like it isn't on the peg. Or maybe mine just sucks.

Overall in robot and planet mode he is cool. I only have one gripe, he has like a Hindu pimple thing on his forehead, he must have been eating too many oily planets. Anyways, I'm still wondering why it is there, can you paint over it or something? Unicron should have had a monster sword, not like Star Saber, but like the sword of fury on Scourge. Go out and get this guy as soon as possible, oh and you wont miss him, he's in the giant box! Sometimes you might actually want to stop buy a store personally since I think that the emplyees there are too lazy to get the giant box out. Whatever, why are you reading this whole review, just get off the chair and go get him now.
