X-Brawn - RID - Figure

Got this guy 2 years ago, and I must say I'm very impressed. I had so much fun playing w/ it I did not have the time to review it. Well, here it is.

Vehicle Mode: His car mode represents a Mercedes Benz SUV, completely different from his G1 counterpart, Brawn. On the cover of the engine(which can be opened to show engine)is a noticable Autobot symbal painted on. In the passenger side(driver side in japan)you can see the robot head as if he were looking where he was going, LOL. The tires are made of rubber and everything else plastic. The wheels, grill, bumper,& little bar things on the bottom are all chrome. The main color is gray with a bit of green and black on the doors & rear. On the rear is a little spare tire inside a rack. Note that the tire is green and non removable. The front doors open and, with a little effort, the sunroof is able to be opened.

Transformation: First remove the missles from underneath the car and open the doors. Split the rear in half and pull it back. Open the rack for the feet and fold the arm from the roof and turn the elbow joint so he can bend it forward. Pull the front apart and straighten it out. Roatate the sunroof 90 degrees and flip the waist down. Swing rear wheels above the shins and flip the wheel further from the elbow to expose the hand. Flip and turn robot head and attach missles to the holes on the sunroof interior.

Robot mode: There is lots of things about it, I don't know where to start. Well, one of the most noticable things are... the kibble. Wow, there is alot. The legs have a big part of the back doors and the rest of the rear. There is also that roof hanging out on his back. His left arm has the front doors hanging of it and a big chunk of the car is resting in his arm. He is quite bulky, except for his right arm, which is much smaller than the other limbs. His right arm serves as a missle launcher for the missles, of course. They fire with very little force, so its safe to hit the face as long its not the eyes. His colors are a mixed bag of gray, chrome, black, green, light green, dark green, silver,& red.On the right arm you can see a fist molded into it. His bumper & missles can be used as weapons in his left fist. I was dissapointed that he did not come w/ a handheld gun, so I equipped him w/ G1 reissue Autobot Jazz's gun. It fits perfectly in the left hand.

Overall: X-Bawn is a very good asset to anyones TF collection. Good weapons, good articulation, good car, good colors, good everything. So whenever you get the chance, Get this toy!!! You will not be dissapointed!

Extra fun! New alternate form!: My friend made up this, and I thought it was pretty nice, so I'm showing it. First, start with robot mode and remove the tires, missles, bumper & roof for the engine, doors,& sunroof. Robot mode maybe lacking but thats ok to me.

Transformeation: First put away the left fist. Turn the head 180 degrees and put it down halfway.Roatate the roof 180 degrees and attach the left arm to the shoulder as if turning it in to car mode. Swing both arms up and fold the feet back and attach the legs together. Swing them back so the roof plugs into the gap in the legs. Attach smaller missle in to launher and bigger on in the hole in the arm pointing up.

Alt mode: This mode is supposed to be a gun, using the legs as the handle and connector of the roof as the trigger. It was made to remind me of the Tfs who transformed into weapons.
