Swindle is far more aggressive than his brother Hardtop. With the bright yellow color he has to be. Only the colors have changed, why should you buy this figure, Iíll tell you.
This mode is still a rail buggy. What was green on hardtop is now yellow, and purple is now brown. Hardtops lights were yellow so they changed them to orange on swindle. The light green is now maroon. The best change, aside from being yellow, is they removed the Decepticon symbol from the hood. Now he can drive up to the Autobots and they wonít know not to trust him until he transforms, close range sneak attack.
For the most part the color swapping remains the same here. The gold on Hardtops arms is gone but it has been replaced with smaller grey detailing. The seat back that makes his chest is silver with a Decepticon symbol. I thought this is where it shouldíve been on Hardtop but I like it the way itís hidden in his robot modeÖ espionage robot sniper. Articulation still remains great.
Still a great figure. Hasbro has had some kickass exclusives. Takara is missing out. The characterization has been excellent also, Hardtop is a sniper who likes long distance attacks while his brother Swindle would rather smack Autobots across the head with the rifle rather than shoot it. You can make up whatever you want about their hidden symbols: espionage, sneak attacks, whatever. The only way this guy could be any better is if they put a socket on him so he could be a limb for one of Energonís gestalts.
