From retailer Forbidden Planet, we have a first look at several pieces of retail stock photography for the first wave of Power of The Primes. Excluding the Prime Master class for the time being, we have everything from Legends and up, including Windcharger, Beachcomber, Jazz, Dreadwind, our first two Dinobots, plus the Voyagers and Leaders whose photos we saw before, but now at a larger clearer resolution. Forbidden Planet lists a ship date from their suppliers as January 7th, which may give some insight toward general availability. We've got the whole batch of images mirrored, keep reading to see them now!
Coming to us from one of the recurring Weibo sources, we have two stock photo images of the packaging for Prime Masters Alpha Trion (wearing a Landmine Decoy Suit/Pretender shell) and Alchemist Prime with Submarauder suit. These present in package almost identically to the Titan Masters we've had for the last year and a half, simply swapping the "Decoy Suit" Pretender shell for a transforming vehicle. All signs right now are that we should expect to see the first trickles of POTP products hitting stores in the upcoming few weeks - hopefully with good distribution everywhere by the start of 2018. Click through to see the two images.
Japanese news site "Natalie" has announced a special limited edition of Cerebros/Fortress from the Titans Return
Fortress Maximus mold that will make absolutely no sense to anyone who's not up on Japanese TV comedy. RAC definitely wasn't, but he's discovered enough info to actually bring some context to what this weird thing actually is. Keep reading for all the details!
Autobase Aichi has posted more stock photo assets from the first wave of Power of The Primes, now giving us in package shots of the first Legends assortment with Beachcomber, Dinobot Slash, and Windcharger, plus the remaining photography for Leader class Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime. Of note, this includes the individual Hot Rod vehicle form, which has not been played up very much since the reveal of the toy. You can find all these new images mirrored below!
The Facebook page TFCN has shared some low quality copies of retailer stock photos for upcoming Power of The Primes toys. We've got the in-box images for the Leader Class Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime. We also have Voyager Grimlock in box, plus the basic out of package images showing the robot and dinosaur modes. So far none of these show an ill-conceived sticker-hell to match what we saw of Starscream just recently
, but there's always room to be surprised once these are out in the wild! Click through to see the images.
Machinima's Facebook page has been updated with a new behind the scenes video which features quite a bit of content from the soon to debut Titans return web series. The focus of the clips shown is the battle between Trypticon and Metroplex, with a few other random bits interspersed. This offers our first real look at whether Machinima's animation is up to the task of rendering the battle between two giant Transformers, and the answer may not actually surprise you at all! We've got the video embedded below, as well as screencaps from the new clips. Click through to see it all right now!
The usual Weibo leaker has posted three new images of Power of the Primes
Voyager Starscream! Besides an in-package image, we get to see the current ruler of Cybertron with his Prime Master bucklers/Combiner feet connected to his shoulders as mounting points for his Null Rays. The jet mode photo shows a few other interesting things... keep reading to see!
Artist Emiliano Santalucia
has once again posted some of his concept art work for Hasbro to his Facebook page! Today's subject is Generations Titans Return
Deluxe Wolfwire, known as G1 as Weirdwolf. Besides his beast mode, we also get a look at the detail intended for the figure's cockpit compartment. Keep reading to see!
This morning brings our latest toy gallery for you! Slugslinger is the final new toy for Titans Return - at least at general retail - being the sole first-run figure in Deluxe wave 6. Though sharing a fair bit with Misfire
(but mostly by way of what both have in common with Triggerhappy), Slugslinger ends up feeling more than a little better in execution thanks to not needing to move quite as many elements between modes. If only it wasn't a color that is virtually impossible to duplicate digitally. But you can see over 150 photos color matched as close as possible - click through to head to the gallery now!
Machinima has posted a new teaser "poster" to Facebook, featuring Emissary, the smallest head-component of Fortress Maximus, riding inside Windblade's jet mode over a city being attacked by Trypticon as a promo for the upcoming debut of the Titans Return web series. Prominently featuring that Jason David Frank will be providing the role of the voice, this single-focus character poster does seem to imply other similar images may follow for other cast members. We've mirrored the promo image, keep reading to check it out!
Newsarama has published the full preview for the final issue of the First Strike
miniseries. While this issue hits shops next Wednesday, we will still be getting a handful of tie-in titles coming out for a bit - and of course there's always the post-crossover-aftermath-restructuring to look forward to! War for the Core! Deep within Cybertron, the ultimate weapon to kill all Transformers is about to be activated! Meanwhile, Elita One plans to stop the weapon—by killing every human on Cybertron! Either way, looks like some species on Cybertron is going down unless Optimus Prime and Scarlett can save the day…

Hot on the heels of the previous round of leaks, we've got one more set for you! First up is a look at the instructions lineart for Abominus,
as well as for the as-yet unnamed combined modes of Voyagers Starscream
Plus we've got trading card art for many of the Wave 1 releases. Keep reading to see!
Another leak has come out from the usual Weibo source, and it's a pretty substantial one. It's primarily made of art assets for Power of the Primes
packaging and instructions, so - while small - they represent the best looks we've yet gotten at largely unseen figures such as Voyager Elita-1, Deluxe Moonracer, and more. We also get illustrations of Jazz, Moonracer, and Rippersnapper as arms, and some in-package photos to top it all off. Keep reading for a full catalog of what's here!
From our same old Weibo leak source, we've got some new pieces of Power of The Primes art and package assets leaked. We have more views of Elita-1, showing the collector card front and back and giving a good look at (an interpretation of) her robot mode. Also seen is a partial image of Inferno's robot mode, plus an instruction image of Volcanicus showing the ability to attach surplus combiner hands to the combiner feet to extend the heel support. Keep reading to see all of the images!
It's that time again: a week has passed since a major convention so the usual leakers on Weibo are back on the job. Today we have a look at the combining diagram forPower of the Primes
combiner Abominus which will presumably appear in every Terrorcon's instructions, and pegs the last three members of the team as "coming Late 2018." We also have slices of the package art for Voyagers Hun-Gurrr, Elita-1, and Inferno that show off their respective combined forms, Abominus, ????, and ????. Keep reading to see!
