YouTuber chuckdawg1999 has reviewed RID Deployers Fracture! He's not particularly thrilled with it as a toy for adults or
kids, so this is likely worth a watch if you've been interested in the toy for yourself or as a gift for that burgeoning Transformers fan you know. Keep reading!
With a much better paint job and clearer instructions, Takara's take on the One-Step figures are really good. it's a tough choice between the Adventure version and Hasbro's Night-Ops version of Bumblebee since both decos are fantastic. Ninja Sideswipe looks good but the "Butterfly" transforming style is getting a bit old at this point.
While the Hyperchange line will never be called the peak of Transformers engineering, Steeljaw is a fine figure and in my opinion the best representation of the character thus far. Transformation is limited to three steps, but due to the magic of automorph a lot happens in those three steps creating a very nice looking robot. Obviously this figure is made for smaller hands but a collector might find enjoyment as a desk toy.
TMan978 has shared his "Chill Review" video of RID 2015's Warrior Class Jazz, a new interpretation of the classic Autobot character. While the review is not entirely positive towards the line or the figure, a good overall view is given of the figure in both modes as well as a run through of the transformation and comparison with previous Jazz figures. Click through and check out the embedded video!
Here's a look at the new Warrior Class Sideswipe from the new Transformers Robots In Disguise line. Sideswipe has a very nice car mode with a fairly simple transformation. Robot mode looks good but has some issues with the shoulders staying pegged in. Please rate, comment and subscribe!
Here's a look at the new Warrior Class Jazz from Transformers Robots In Disguise. His car mode is very stylized and looks great and his robot mode is also a lot of fun. A great addition to the Robots In Disguise line. Please rate, comment and subscribe!
The Legion figures from RID continue to roll along with Underbite and Fixit. While both aren't the best a Legion toy can be, Underbite has a solid vehicle mode, while Fixit has a very expressive robot mode. Overall if I had to recommend one go with Underbite as One-Step Fixit is the better overall representation of the character.
TFormers forums user Humberto "Bert The Stormtrooper" Montoya has posted a new video review of Warrior Class Drift! It's a good looking, fairly poseable looking figure, and Bert seems to be pretty happy with it though he notes that the transformation is pretty similar to Bumblebee. Keep reading to see for yourself!
YouTuber chuckdawg1999 has posted a video review for the now-appearing second wave of Robots In Disguise One-Step Changers! Featured in this wave are Grimlock, Steeljaw, and Fixit, and they all look pretty good and have nifty auto-transformations. Keep reading to see!
Chuckdawg1999 has posted a review of Hyperchange Optimus Prime to YouTube! Chuck seems pretty happy with the sizeable figure, and the three-step transformation is actually pretty impressive. He also says that it has a certain heft that he feels Transformers have lacked in recent years, so if you want a robot with some weight behind it, this may be your bot. Shartimus Prime's got his paws on the Transformers Optimus Prime Deluxe Class Robots In Disguise action figure. Dig into the review and images of the littler figure from the series we thought he wasn't going to be in. While the debut of the Robots In Disguise cartoon hangs in the future, you can study this figure out of the box and in his robot and alternate modes for the full details. Read on to see the video review and image gallery.
Here's a look at Warrior Class Bumblebee from the new Transformers Robots In Disguise line. This is a very nice figure. The detail, mold and transformation are all surprisingly good! I was not expecting to like this figure and I actually like it a lot! If you are on the fence about this line I recommend giving it a shot with Bumblebee. Please rate, comment and subscribe!
Here's a look at the Warrior Class Grimlock from the new Transformers Robots in Disguise line. I love this figure! The colors look great, the mold is fun and unique and so is the transformation! My ONLY complaint is that he isn't a Voyager size figure. Please rate, comment and subscribe!
Diecast from Radio Free Cybertron got his hands on the entire first wave of RID 2015 and has posted video reviews of the entire assortment! Priced slightly lower than next year's Combiner Wars Generations Deluxes, the Warrior class figures look to be closer to Beast Wars Deluxes in terms of size and complexity, and that is fine by me. Keep reading to see what Diecast thought!
IJK Productions on Youtube has posted two new video reviews showing off the One Step Changer figures Sideswipe and Underbite, a vehicle-to-beast character that is so far exclusive to this price point. Sideswipe uses the familiar AOE Drift "butterfly knife" transformation pattern, while Underbite does a smooth flip forward. Check out both embedded videos to get a look at the details of each toy!
