Binaltech
More Binaltech

Thanks to "sgt__york," we have learned that TakaraTomy's BinalTech BT-22 Convoy has been delayed. It is unknown at this time for the reason of this delay. "Sgt__york" cites the owner of a major pre-order company, and this information has been further confirmed by Japanese e-retailer O-Kawaya (English translation).

TF08.net has posted an in-depth gallery of BinalTech BT-21 Arcee. The gallery focuses on the figure's vehicle mode and shows an up-close shot of the figure's head mold.

BBTS has let us know they've received their shipment of the newest Binaltechs out of Japan. Bluestreak is redone here in a pure blue paintjob, without all of the decals and designs that marked his original Binaltech release(s). Meister, or Jazz as he's known in the States, is redone here, not only in a silver paintjob, but also using some of the alterations from the Laserwave version of this Mazda mold - $59.99 each for these die-cast beauties. Thanks to vansch for front and back in-package shots of Transformers Binaltech BT-19 Bluestreak Feat. Subaru Impreza and BT-20 Argent Meister Feat. Mazda RX-8 Mazdaspeed Version II that were just released in Japan today. Take a look in this gallery.

Thanks to rone1026 of ToysDaily, we have a first look at the Binaltech BT-20 Meister v2 figure in comparison with other BTs. You may view the the images in the local gallery.

Members of Actoys Forum have posted photos of Transformers Binaltech BT-20 Argent Meister Feat. Mazda RX-8 Mazdaspeed Version II in and out of package. Check out the photos in this gallery.

On-line retailer Hobby Net has post up new stock shots of Transformers Binaltech BT-21 Arcee and BT-22 Convoy. Images mirrored in this gallery.

Just in are fresh photos of the upcoming TakaraTomy Transformers Binaltech BT-19 Blue Streak feat. Subaru Impreza WRX, BT-20 Meister feat. Mazda RX-8 Mazdaspeed Ver 2, BT-21 Arcee feat Honda S200 Hard Top, and BT-22 Convoy feat Dodge Ram SRT10 from Shizuoka Hobby Show 2008. View them in the Image Gallery

Amazon Japan has a pre-order listing of a standard Binaltech BT-22 Convoy Dodge Ram figure (and not a cute girl of dubious legal age in-sight!). Perhaps, if you were waiting for a more, ahem, "morally justified" rendition of the Takara Convoy , then, quite possibly, this is for you. Check out the pre-order at Amazon Japan. This item will be released on July 17, 2008, priced 4,998 Yen / $48 USD.

Looks like there will be two versions of Transformers Binaltech BT-21 Arcee Honda S2000 Hardtops from TakaraTomy. This is in similar fashion to BT-08 Meister, which was released in both white and red. One will be in Arcee colors, which we have already seen and another in Paradron Medic colors. Both are expected to be released simultaneously in Japan, retailing at 5,000 Yen each on July 17, 2008.

First BinalTech releases hit a slow patch, but 2008 seems to be bringing about a resurgence of the series for the line by TakaraTomy. Following the BT-19 Bluestreak and BT-20 Meister v2 confirmation, information about BT-21 and BT-22 seems to be trickling out as well. "Crazy" of the Hong Kong Transformers Talk Forum, that BT-21 will be a repainted Transformers: Alternators Windcharger while BT-22 will be another version of the BinalTech Convoy figure. Continue reading.

UPDATE: We have personally confirmed with BBTS that these two figures will indeed be released around June 2008.
"Redfish" of the Hong Kong based Toy Daily Forums has revealed a questionable solicitation for Transformers Binaltech BT-19 Bluestreak feat. Subaru Imprezza WRX and BT-20 Meister feat RX-8 Mazda Speed Version II whose color scheme will be based on the Movie Jazz. The release date is June 26, 2008 in Japan and will retail at 5,000 Yen. Read more info and the mirrored scans here.

Invincible Robot Laboratory finishes up the Transformers Binaltech series with a gallery and review (in-language) of e-Hobby Shop exclusive BT-10 Rijie featuring Ford GT Electro Disruptor Version including comparison shots of his Alternator and Kiss Players counterparts. Head over there to check it out!

Thanks to our friends at ACToys.net new pictures of the BT-18 Clear Mirage released as an eHobby exclusive can be seen in the gallery.

Brace yourselves, here comes another Black Convoy style sellout! e-Hobby is getting ready to play it again with the high demand exclusives, this time with the BT Mirage Clear Version. Thanks to "killmetal" of the Asian newgroups who has shared the image with us. We get our first look at the alternate mode out of the box. You can see the pic here.
