Looks like Japan will be getting the first, if not the only, release of the 3D Edition Blu-Ray DVD of the Transformers Dark of the Moon from Paramount. The 3D Edition version will be available in Japan only come January 20th of 2012 for 5,985 JPY / $77 USD. Like the current release, there's no extras on this one. No word on anything for this in the USA. This may be due to small number of people who have 3D capable systems in their homes still. The good news is the Japan release will have both the English and Japanese soundtracks so people can still get the 3D experience at home, for a price.
