Revoltech have released a preview for the No. 40 Transformers Jetwing Optimus Prime DX super articulated figure package on their facebook page. Additionally, their YouTube channel been updated with a video showcasing the many features of this release that includes the Jetwing accessory that pays homage to the scene where Prime takes out Shockwave's driller in the Dark of the Moon film. This toy will be released in Japan on October 1, 2012. See the Sci-Fi Revoltech Series No. 040 Optimus Prime DX box and watch the in-language video after the jump.

Thanks to ACToys, there is news of more Movie Trilogy toys coming our way from the Dark of the Moon line. Just in are new details on two Leader Class figures including a Megatron Dark Energon Edition and a Starscream toy. Megatron is a black and purple themed repaint of the Revenge of the Fallen Leader figure that will be offered in the updated Asia packaging. The new Starscream offering a repaint of the Hunt For The Decepticons release that pays homage to the G1 character with with his classic G1 theme being applied to the modern mold.

Thanks to our sponsor RobotKingdom who's posted some images of the Takara Transformers Asia Premium Series APS-01 Striker Optimus Prime action figure that is an upgraded reissue of the Takara Tomy Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon DA-28 Striker Optimus Prime figure on their pre-order page. Note the additons of a chrome grill, as well as other gray parts on the DA-28 have changed to silver, the overall brighter colors and more details from RobotKingdom after the jump.

The Asia Premium Series web site has posted an update for the APS-01 Striker Optimus Prime action figure release that was previously reported. The site has posted some new teaser images with silhouettes of the toys along with some of the details on the action figures' features. Look forwards to features including: metallic paint, chromed parts, special packaging, and bonus weapon. The figures are listed as a limited production with no number. Thanks to eBay seller animetropolis who has posted an auction with images show us the Takara Tomy Exclusive Transformers Dark of Moon Leader Class Optimus Prime and Megatron two-pack that will be offered to Asian markets only. The exclusive two-pack pairs the Leader Class Optimus Prime and Megatron actions figure molds from the 2007 movie in one set. Revoltech has ponied up some great official looks at the upcoming Sci-Fi Revoltech No 040 Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime DX with Jetwing parts and battle axe. The extremely poseable series shows off Prime with the attachments that allow him to fly and cause havok, just like he did to Shockwave's driller in the film. In addition to the aforementioned extras, Prime will also come with a stand, alternate head and hands, and the movie sword. The figure is set for an October 1, 2012 release for 4800 Yen (~$61 USD). Just in are the official looks from Revoltech on their No. 40 release that feature Transformers Optimus Prime DX with Jetwing, Axe and Sword Accessories. We reported on this previously with just a preview image to show. Now we have more images that show the full figure with accessories. The Transformers Dark of Moon movie figure looks to be super articulated as we have to expect from Revoltech. In addition to the Jetwing, Prime will come with a stand, alternate head and hands, the movie sword and massive energon axe you can see after the jump.

Even though Dark of the Moon is done and gone from the theaters, Thanks to Cybergundam Blog, it looks like the Revoltech series still has yet another feather in their Transformers cap. What a feather it is with a rendition of the fan favorite JetWing Optimus Prime they are promoting officially as Revoltech No.040 Optimus Prime DX. The image from Figure King No. 74 shows sculpting of the Jetwings are somewhat different from what we have seen before. Almost looks like a glider of sorts were it not for the big jet engines. The figure is listed with a release date of October 1, 2012. Price is unknown at this time. Check out the full image after the jump for the up-close.

Hasbro officially announced what Amazon jumped on the gun on earlier this week: the online retailer will be exclusively offering not one but two Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime figures, the Jetwing Optimus Prime for $104.99 and Year of the Dragon Ultimate Optimus Prime for $99.99. Both of these figures will be out in November. Take a look at the display images, as well as official ones of Jetwing Prime, in the gallery. Amazon has updated the product page for the Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon Jetwing Optimus Prime figure and has revealed that not only will the figure finally make it stateside, but Amazon will be pimping the figure with a retailer exclusive deco as well. Unlike the DA15 Takara Tomy variant, the weapons will get some paint attention to match the rest of the figure's color scheme as well as some clever paint designs to make it seem like the plastic in middle part of the gun has been swapped with clear plastic. The figure is currently available for pre-order with a hefty price tag of $104.99. A release date has not been revealed as of yet. See the figure in the gallery.

The Transformers Dark Side of the Moon Blu-Ray & DVD have been released in Japan on December 16. The set includes the Japanese edition of the movie with an additional inclusion of the "Transformers Magazine" leaflet offering details on the Transformers back ground. With an overview of the Transformers 27-year history that cumlinated with the Transformers Prime cartoon that has been confirmed for Japan to start broadcasting in April 2012. As reported before, there's no details on the network / stations or voice actors that will be working the show.

As we have come to expect from Takara Tomy, they have loaded this figure up with details and sweet glorious chrome! Thanks to a couple of Asian fan sites we have some images from the recent Tokyo Motor Show 2011 that was held in Tokyo, Japan this past weekend. On display was the Chevy Bumble edition Camaro along with Transformers Bumblebee and a bunch of toys on display. Get some looks at the Transformers Dark of the Moon figures including the Que figure as well as the Prime display that shows much of the same toys we have seen already.
