Every once in a while, you get a toy with ideas or executions that just come out really well. The unfortunate part is when those good aspects are buried with things that work so much more poorly that they act disproportionately to sour the overall impression of the toy. That's kind of what happens with Kickback. Read the full review.
I'm sure it was a bit of a challenge to decide on how to redeco the Shockwave mold. There's very few clear historic choices. However it came to be that they applied an Aerialbot identity to the mold, it's probably not what I would have thought of. So, who's better to buy between this and Shockwave? Read the full review.
A new Classics-friendly Starscream has been on my wishlist for a long time. What's more, I really wanted something based on the Cybertron toy's design, but with better poseability. It took a few years, but it seems like thanks to Fall of Cybertron, I may have gotten exactly what I wished for. ...and in doing probably consigned myself to gradually amassing a whole new seeker collection. Aw, cripes, this really was a monkey's paw... Read the full review

I love artbooks, but not every game gets one. With a game as intricate and inspired as Fall of Cybertron,

But with the promise comes a great deal of ambition, because these toys have to do a lot of things to fulfill their goals. While their quality on an individual level is of course an important consideration, the criteria which they're really going to be measured by is how they stack up as a multi-part super robot. Early in the course of posting this series of reviews, one of my readers commented to me that he anticipated Brawl would be my least favorite. While I didn't confirm or deny that at the time, I already knew that wouldn't be the case. I'm not surprised he or anyone else might make that guess though, because while I can see the good in Brawl and enjoy the figure, it's not to say it is free of problems. Read the full review.
