Transformers 5 The Last Knight
More Transformers 5 The Last Knight

From the website of artist Furio Tedeschi we have some new pieces of The Last Knight concept art from various stages of design. What made this latest batch stand out as interesting was how a number of pieces, such as some of the knight designs, showed clear traces of what would go in to the toyline, possibly marking a few of these pieces as part of the starting point for the design of things like Dragonstorm. Another treat is a few photos of those knight designs as physical set elements from the sound stages - parts of which I personally got to view up close in August of 2016! Autobase Aichi has posted images of more of TakaraTomy's Transformers: The Last Knight promotional items, and details on how to get them! Those who spend 2,000 Yen or more at TakaraTomyMall right now will net themselves a Bronze Calibur Axe. Meanwhile, those who spend at least 5,000 Yen starting November 11th will be give a set of golden weapons for Optimus Prime and Megatron - the Temenos Sword and "Battle Axe" - while supplies last. Keep reading to see the images!

It sure hasn't been easy for collectors wanting to add one of the best characters from The Last Knight to their shelves. Stores packed with wave 1 Deluxes have slowed down progress drastically, and the TakaraTomy release, planned for the end of this month, has been mysteriously - and indefinitely - delayed. But still there are ways, and if you must resort to more extreme measures, Cogman is at least a very nice figure, covered in detail, lots of paint wash to bring it out, and some nice poseability. Plus it can readily play with all your Titans Return toys and the other best TLK toy, Nitro! You can find examples of all these things in our gallery of almost 200 photos! Keep reading to get started.

By way of Dengeki Hobby, Autobase Aichi has posted images of the latest Transformers: The Last Knight giveaway in Japan: the Bronze Calibur Axe! Those who spend more than 2000 Yen on Transformers products at the right Japanese retail stores will be eligible to receive this bonus accessory for Optimus Prime. The images also hint at golden weapons for Optimus and Megatron - keep reading to see!

We've got scans of the Transformers pages of Figure King 236 from Loopaza on Facebook. This installment features a page and a half on the Movie The Best lineup coming in early 2018, a page featuring the Leader Class Dragonstorm and the big gimmick toy versiuon, which they depict Optimus Prime riding. The last half of page 3 shows the LG Clonetrons, Windblade, G2 Megatron, and the Prime 1 Studios Sqweeks statue. Click through to see the mirrored pages!

Walmart continues to be the exclusive retailer for all things Movie Hot Rod in the US - though they seem in no hurry to get the Premier Edition toy on shelves. But today a listing has been found on Walmart's website for a Hallmark ornament of the character which will be carried exclusively in Walmart stores. The ornament is shown to be 3 inches tall, and is priced at $7.47, even though it can't be ordered online. The complex details of a movie design seem to have translated less well than did the G1 designs in prior Hallmark efforts. But you can see and judge for youself when you check out all the images in the gallery below!

The effort to promote the home video release of Transformers: The Last Knight continues as Syfy Wire has been given several pieces of design and concept art from the movie to share. Aside from one "samurai knight" robot design, this mostly concerns location design - and the concept of Megatron negotiating with the US government for the release of several captured Decepticons. There's some nice looking pieces in this small collection, especially the planet shots. You can see them all for yourself in the gallery below!

Well, here's an interesting wrinkle: Amazon has just revealed the existence of Transformers: The Last Knight Allspark Tech Sqweeks! And most fascinatingly, he's a Starter Pack figure who includes an Allspark Cube... but this one is rechargeable via USB cable! Keep reading for the photos and description.

As part of the effort to promote the home video release of The Last Knight, Collider has been provided several pieces of concept art for the movie, depicting the ideas that would become major scenes of the movie. Most ended up staying very close to these depictions, while one or two may have been lost to the cutting room floor, or undergone more significant alterations before going to film. We have copies mirrored, but check out the original article link farther down for full resolution - some of them hit about 5000 pixels!

Via TFND we have in addition to our first look at Legends for February, also the February offerings in Japan's Movie The Best line. The first wave for 2018 will include Jazz, Bonecrusher, and The Last Knight Leader Megatron all featuring modified/improved decos versus earlier releases, as well as Age of Extinction Lockdown with a new visored headsculpt in addition to its altered deco. Will any of these be going on your shopping list? Take a look in our gallery below to help you decide!

The Transformers The Last Knight movie dsic releases have a new entrey in the exclusive category with the WalMart edition that will come packed with two Die-Cast Metal figures for Optimus Prime and Bumblebee! The special packaging set will include the full Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital copies of the film along with the die-cast toys for only $29 USD. The set is listed for pre-order now in Canada, and is said to be bilingual, so its expected to offered up elsewhere. Read on to see the packages image and more details.

Following the look at the cool packaging, we have a much better look at the goodies inside the Bumblebee Evolution 3 Pack by way of Amazon Japan. Looking back over the history of Bumblebee 10 years, it is the appearance of three body sets. We have a look at all three of the figures in robot and vehicle modes.

On Facebook, Prime 1 Studios has shared the announcement of a half-scale Sqweeks statue with a gallery of photos. The mascot character for The Last Knight is represented at about two feet tall, and has LED elements in the eyes to bring the statue to life. The statue is meticulously detailed in sculpt and paint to recreate the appearance from the movie. Sqweeks is noted as being limited to 500 pieces and has a target price of $1499(!) making it perhaps not something the more casual collector will be eager to jump on. Click through to see the sample photos!

Sporting a fancy package and improved paint, this new release of Transformers: The Last Knight Premier Edition Voyager Optimus Prime is a $50 version of a toy that already should never have been $30 at retail. Which is not to say it's bad. It's actually pretty good! But given that it's difficult if not impossible to remove from its package without causing damage, and you don't actually have any guarantee of receiving the bonus tire segment used on the set of the film, it's really hard to defend the cost. Especially next to Primitive Prime. Keep reading for a gallery of 61 images!

Our anonymous Walmart source has found another exclusive! The Autobots Unite Flip Change Bumblebee is the second item found with that branding after Flip Change Hot Rod. No word on some of the other items, such as Deluxe Hot Rod, but maybe if we're lucky their release will be coordinated with the home video push. Keep reading to see the photo!
