Transformers 5 The Last Knight
More Transformers 5 The Last Knight

Confusingly enough, Walmart now has Premier Edition Deluxe Hot Rod listed as in stock on their website with delivery as early as October 2nd. This comes just hours after an Amazon listing was found for the figure in standard retail packaging, sparking speculation that Walmart might have backed off from some of their The Last Knight exclusives. Whether Hot Rod will ever manage to turn up on store shelves at this point, right now if you're in the US you can order one for $19.99 and bring the unexpectedly long wait for this toy to an end. Find the link to the product page below!

We've got scans of the Transformers pages of Figure King 236 from Loopaza on Facebook. This installment features a page and a half on the Movie The Best lineup coming in early 2018, a page featuring the Leader Class Dragonstorm and the big gimmick toy versiuon, which they depict Optimus Prime riding. The last half of page 3 shows the LG Clonetrons, Windblade, G2 Megatron, and the Prime 1 Studios Sqweeks statue. Click through to see the mirrored pages!

It surely has not escaped anyone's notice that we're quite a while past the theatrical release of Transformers: The Last Knight, and a fair number of the exclusives allocated (in the United States) to Walmart from the movie's toyline are yet to materialize, notably including the premier Edition Deluxe Hot Rod. Today a question arises whether those exclusive plans may have been abandoned, as a listing for the Deluxe Hot Rod has turned up on Amazon, showing packaging lacking any exclusive identifiers. What's going on? Keep reading...

Did you know there are, in all, 14 different versions of Transformers: The Last Knight out now for purchase on physical media? Do you know what each of them has to offer? Well, now you can find out! Paramount sent us over a full set of the various releases, and we've put together a quick unboxing giving a basic guide to the features you can find in each general retail and store exclusive version! And not only that, but together with Paramount, we're bringing you a chance to win a copy of the movie. Check out the video below for all the details!

While the Deluxe price point seems to be a completely lost cause, we have word of a new Leader Class sighting from The Last Knight. flamingunicron has reported, with photo, of the presence and purchase of Leader Wave 2 Dragonstorm at a Toys R Us in Cerritos, California. Only a gift receipt is shown, but we can assume this was stocked at the standard movie Leader price of $49.99. With this getting in the normal distribution system, it'll be time to start hunting once again if the two-in-one dragon robot is something you've been waiting for!

Walmart continues to be the exclusive retailer for all things Movie Hot Rod in the US - though they seem in no hurry to get the Premier Edition toy on shelves. But today a listing has been found on Walmart's website for a Hallmark ornament of the character which will be carried exclusively in Walmart stores. The ornament is shown to be 3 inches tall, and is priced at $7.47, even though it can't be ordered online. The complex details of a movie design seem to have translated less well than did the G1 designs in prior Hallmark efforts. But you can see and judge for youself when you check out all the images in the gallery below!

We reported earlier on TakaraTomy's release of Cogman being postponed with no projected new release date, but today we've also learned a little more about the (probably largely theoretical) North American Hasbro release of the figure. Entertainment Earth has posted the case loadout for Deluxe Wave 4, and it's not very good news. As expected, Cogman is the only new figure is the wave, but what it ships with should be cause for concern. Keep reading to find out what you can expect.

The miserable distribution of the Deluxe pricepoint of Transformers The Last Knight Premier Edition has probably left you feeling little hope of seeing the tail-end new mold Cogman available for purchase in a store or online without buying a case assortment of things you might already have - or simply don't want - along with it. The TakaraTomy release of the figure, solicited for the end of October then seemed like a good safety net, provided you were able to get a preorder while they were available. Unfortunately it seems that wasn't so secure of a backup plan either. Keep reading to find out more.

Thanks to Paramount Pictures, RAC has received a Blu-Ray Combo Pack copy of Transformers: The Last Knight for review, in advance of its September 26th release date! Join him as he goes over the specifics of the set and its Special Features... with an extended aside about the film itself. Keep reading for the full review!

The effort to promote the home video release of Transformers: The Last Knight continues as Syfy Wire has been given several pieces of design and concept art from the movie to share. Aside from one "samurai knight" robot design, this mostly concerns location design - and the concept of Megatron negotiating with the US government for the release of several captured Decepticons. There's some nice looking pieces in this small collection, especially the planet shots. You can see them all for yourself in the gallery below!

Well, here's an interesting wrinkle: Amazon has just revealed the existence of Transformers: The Last Knight Allspark Tech Sqweeks! And most fascinatingly, he's a Starter Pack figure who includes an Allspark Cube... but this one is rechargeable via USB cable! Keep reading for the photos and description.

As part of the effort to promote the home video release of The Last Knight, Collider has been provided several pieces of concept art for the movie, depicting the ideas that would become major scenes of the movie. Most ended up staying very close to these depictions, while one or two may have been lost to the cutting room floor, or undergone more significant alterations before going to film. We have copies mirrored, but check out the original article link farther down for full resolution - some of them hit about 5000 pixels!

Paramount is running a tournament bracket right now to let fans decide who the top Bot (or Con) is among the movie series cast. A special website is running right now allowing visitors to vote on contestants from both factions, the ultimate winner from each will go head to head. Sadly as of time of writing, Cogman has already lost out of the running, rendering the Autobot side largely meaningless. But - there's still a chance to help Nitro Zeus advance past the first round! Find the link to the site just below in the full post.

The official Hasbro YouTube channel has posted a new Transformers Designer Desk video for Transformers: The Last Knight Premier Edition Leader Class Megatron! John Warden demonstrates the figure's full range of articulation, as well as showing off the cool sword and the battle mask gimmick. It's a fun-looking toy! Keep reading to see the video, and some outtakes from Warden at the end.

On the Youtube channel "Comic Book Movie" we can see a quick clip showing some behind the scenes work from Transformers The Last Knight as one of the movie's Merlin scenes is being filmed, intercut with comments from the screenwriter about casting Stanley Tucci for the role. And sure enough we are shown the crew - Michael Bay included - having trouble containing themselves at the somewhat unconventional take on King Arthur's Wizard. You can find the clip embedded below.
