Following the big announcement from TakaraTomy. USA pre-orders are now up with pricing and preorder information on this legendary mash-up are confirmed! Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Street Fighter, these remold/recolored figures exclusive to Takara Tomy mall.
Those of us who've been around the block a few times knew to be expecting Power of The Primes sometime before the end of the year. We just might not have expected a first sighting quite this early. Arizona, frequently a magical land of new toys has yielded the first sighting of the new Generations imprint, as Jazz and Dreadwind were found at a Target in Sierra Vista by Skalor
. A photo of the receipt was provided which also gives us a Target DCPI number which appears to be new for this line - which means it can be used to do some inventory searching right from home! Click through for the pictures and more info!
Greg "M Sipher" Sepelak reported on Twitter that he found two of the presumed-Walmart Exclusive Transformers: The Last Knight
"Autobots Unite" Two-Packs on sale at Ross! For those not familiar with the chain, Ross is one of a number of discount store chains in the US - along with TJ Maxx, Marshall's, and Ollie's - where Transformers items show up with a certain regularity. If you see them, a pair of Legion class figures will run you $5, and a pair of Turbo Changers will run you $12. Keep reading for the photographic proof, mirrored here for convenience.
Our anonymous Walmart insider has once again provided us with a new photo! This time, we've got a "PDQ" display of Transformers: The Last Knight
Premier Deluxes for the holidays. And - it's so sad to say this is an improvement - it features the second
wave of Deluxes, featuring Slug, Sqweeks, Drift, and Steelbane! Hopefully this is just the start and Hasbro won't be leaving money on the table by leaving Cogman's wave so difficult to find. Keep reading for the photo!
TFW2005 user GiganGoji
has reported that yes, Cogman has been found in a US store! Specifically he was found in a ToysRUs in Olympia, Washington. This end-of-line figure is not only of one of the more entertaining characters in Transformers: The Last Knight
, but is also compatible with all your Titans Return
figures! Keep reading for more details.
The last of three known Team Combiner sets for the Robots in Disguise line has hit brick and mortar retail. Galvatronus, comprised of Cyclonus, Riotgear, Skyjack, Cyberwarp, and Treadshock was spotted at Toys R Us in Fort Wayne, IN by Rookbartley
. Robots in Disguise is expected to be ending with the wrap up of the Combiner Force imprint, though there are still a few toys that have yet to reach retail, including two Crash Combiners. Whether any or all of these remaining products ever see distribution in the US is a big question mark right now. Keep reading to see a photo of Galvatronus on shelf!
We have a variety of reports recently that the final regular wave of Titans Return, boasting Slugslinger as its only new offering, is hitting stores in the US. We have confirmed sightings at Walmart locations in Texas, as well as one from a Meijer in Indiana. For those Midwesterners, we understand Meijer is having a buy one get one half off sale right now, which combined with Slugslinger starting to make the rounds marks this as a good time to try for a local toy hunt. Now, if only the later Deluxe waves of The Last Knight Premier Edition would follow suit...
While the Deluxe price point seems to be a completely lost cause, we have word of a new Leader Class sighting from The Last Knight. flamingunicron
has reported, with photo, of the presence and purchase of Leader Wave 2 Dragonstorm at a Toys R Us in Cerritos, California. Only a gift receipt is shown, but we can assume this was stocked at the standard movie Leader price of $49.99. With this getting in the normal distribution system, it'll be time to start hunting once again if the two-in-one dragon robot is something you've been waiting for!
The next three figures in Takara's Transformers Legends line are LG61 Clone Drone Set, LG62 Targetmaster Wingblade, and LG63 G2 Megatron. Like others in the line, these figures will feature a premium paint application with a more modern interpretation, include weapons and accessories, and will come packed with a mini-comic.
Celebrate 10 years of live action Transformers movies with the next 9 figures in the "Movie Best" lineup! The new figures include MB-12 Jazz, MB-13 Bonecrusher, MB-14 Megatron, MB-15 Lockdown, MB-16 Jetfire, MB-17 Optimus Prime (Revenge Ver.), MB-18 War Hammer Bumblebee, MB-19 Hound, and MB-20 Nemesis Prime. Each fully transformable figure features premium deco and includes one or more accessories.
We've got a sighting of the presumed "Cyberverse" Neo-G1 character models! HeyMickey
, of Superhero Time
and That One Episode of Star Trek
fame, has spotted the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Go-Karts sporting the new character designs at a Tennessee Walmart. This is the third or fourth mass-market item to use these models now... and curiously, none of them say "Cyberverse" on the package. Will "Cyberverse" just be a distinguishing title for the show, with this being the first line to simply be called "Transformers" in 30 years? We'll find out at HasCon, hopefully, but for now keep reading to see the images!
Via Ben Yee's BWTF we have word that fan Joe Deas has made an interesting find at Walgreens: Cyber Battalion Jetfire! The Cyber Battalion figures are large, simple toys often borrowing engineering from existing Legends and Cyberverse figures which had been for quite a while exclusive to regions outside the US. This find at a price of $16.99 should be good news for collectors hoping to add some representatives from this line to their collections without paying substantial premiums to have them imported. Click through for the photographic proof mirrored from the BWTF post!
Ozformers has shared some good news on Facebook, particularly for their fellow Australian collectors: The final assortments of Titans Return Deluxes are being spotted - including Slugslinger, the final general retail Deluxe of the line. Sluslinger was found at a Myer store by Justowen. Further, thanks to Joel Delahunty, we have a report on the full case breakdown for Wave 6, which had been a complete mystery up to now. Keep reading for the details!
Originally believed to be an exclusive to Target stores in the US, the Voyager Class "Reveal The Shield" sub-branded Optimus Prime originally of the Dark of The Moon line was found today at Toys R Us in Mission Viejo, California by wtrz
. A mistaken shipment or other isolated shenanigans seem to be ruled out, as the package sports a Toys R Us exclusive sticker. This is complicated by the fact that the Reveal The Shield Turbo Changer multipack is being found at Target, as expected. Could this subline be a broader reaching exclusive than Mission to Cybertron and Autobots Unite? Click through to see the sighting photo.

This doesn't happen often, but we have a timely, first-hand sighting report to deliver to you tonight! At a Walmart just south of the Nashville area, I myself unexpectedly happened upon Premier Edition Scorn and Nitro (by the way, check out our video review of Nitro!
), who comprise Voyager wave 3. There was only one of each, but given the number of entirely undesired Grimlocks still out, it's a promising sign that these are showing up at all! Click through for an in-store photo.
