Kabam, a world leader of massively multiplayer mobile games for a global audience, and Hasbro Inc. today announced a partnership to develop a AAA massively multiplayer mobile game inspired by the iconic Transformers franchise. The game will deliver action-packed authentic Transformers excitement to fans in 2017.

Tencent Games and Hasbro today officially announced a new Transformers Online shooter. The game is a competitive online action shooter powered by Unreal Engine 4, and in other words, it will be similar to Overwatch in gameplay style. Transformers will start closed beta in China on August 5 and the game will reveal more details at ChinaJoy 2016 later this week. Stay tuned for our following coverage.

You may never have heard of the Sega R360 system before today - I hadn't! - but it's a fascinating idea: an enclosed pod for arcade gaming that can rotate in any direction. Sega has recently updated their `90s arcade tech on a special version of their Transformers: Human Alliance arcade game! Keep reading for more info on the game!

Transformers@The Moon reports that Hasbro filed for the gaming and multimedia trademark on the movie title last week, and the trademark covers both console and mobile games as well as home video release of the film itself. Last year's short but memorable Transformers: Devastation featured a boss battle with Shockwave where the one-handed logician displayed a fascinating, very video-gamey power: the ability to create duplicates of himself. Naturally you'd think this was an invention by Platinum Games... but it's not! We've got some news and details from AngryBirdsNest about the Transformers Angry Birds game that will be receiving an update called "Target 2016". The new update will feature what appears to be a new feature that allows some kind of strategy with seeking out various locations to collect enegon cubes. We also have some hints that suggest there will be a Duo-Play feature as well the return of Shockwave, Hot Rod, and other surprises. The Official Twitter account for Transformers: Earth War has posted a new update giving up the game character profile for one of the Autobots. Jetfire knows that science is the most powerful weapon in the battle against the Decepticons. Read on to see the image and full character profile.

DeNA Games has made the somewhat unsurprising announcement that, like most of their other Transformers games, Transformers Battle Tactics will be ending soon. As of yesterday the game no longer updates, as of March 10th in-app purchases will end and the game will no longer be downloadable, but the game will remain playable until May 12. A poster on the NeoGAF forums has shared images of the upcoming Chinese release of last year's Transformers: Devastation! On top of being the first Activision release in mainland China, Devastation is getting a steelbook case with the Autobot and Decepticon insignia - which will be available as part of two limited edition Playstation 4 bundles. A white "Autobot" console and black "Decepticon" console are planned. Keep reading for more info!

A popular Transformers Video Game has been a long time coming, so long that many felt it was not possible. Even Kenji Saito, the director on the Transformers: Devastation game from Activision that was released Fall 2015. Depending on who you ask, the game has hits and misses as far as game play and design go. But few can deny, this has been the most fulfilling Transformers game experience so far. Part of that credit goes to Saito, who shares some of the challenges and how he approached Transformers: Devastation design in recent interview with Gamespot.

Vending Times has reported on the third iteration of Sega's Transformers: Human Alliance arcade cabinet. An arcade-style lightgun shooter, this new "Super Deluxe" version of the cabinet sports an 80-inch screen and mounted lightguns with recoil action. Said to be "about the size of a kid's bedroom," it should be pretty easy to tell if the version you see is the Super Deluxe. Keep reading for more details and a link!

The Tranformers Rishing fan page on Facebook have shared news that DeNA's Transformers Rising Mobile Game will be taken offline at the end of this month, November 30th. This closure follows the Transformers Age of Extinction Movie game that was shuttered in September. Meanwhile, the Transformers: Battle Tactics game appears to still be in play with a new game now in Open Beta titled, Transformers: Frontiers.

Videogamer.com has posted images and details on the Transformers: Devastation DLC coming next week! It appears to be the items which were previously available as preorder bonuses: new skins to make Nemesis Prime, Red Alert, and Goldbug as well as special weapons for each. It's unknown what the price will be, but the general rule of thumb on preorder bonus value is $10 or less, so we'll see. One trip through Transformers: Devastation will run you less than ten hours, but there's a good bit more satisfaction to be had in the game for those who want to stick with it.
