Thanks to the Australian Transformers fan community Ozformers and its admin griffin, we have first look photos showing the special reveal wave 3 Power of The Primes toys being debuted at Australia's Toy Fair event today. Hot Spot retool Inferno, Slash redeco Cindersaur, and Brawn retool Outback each have the front and back of their sample packaging shown, as well as a bonus image showing the three toys on display in their alternate modes. We expect to see more of these after a hands-on fan event takes place later today. Click through to check out the first photos!
Just up on the Transformers Facebook page is three new promo renders reflecting some remaining Power of The Primes items not debuted at Toy fair in New York. Instead, based on the Facebook post, these were kept to keep a special reveal for Australia's Toy Fair event. Representing wave 3 we have Legends Class Cindersaur, a Decepticon redeco of Slash, Outback, retooled from Titans Return Brawn, (featuring the character's original name again after years of being Fallback) and rounding out with Voyager Inferno, remolded from Combiner Wars Hot Spot. We've mirrored the images, and you can check them all out below.
The usual Weibo leaker has posted some packaging images for Power of the Primes
wave 3! Perhaps most noteworthy is Titan Class Predaking, though we also get package front and back photos for Leader Class Optimal Optimus Primal as well as images for Deluxe Novastar and Prime Masters Bludeon, Octopunch, and Bomb-Burst! Keep reading to see.
Easter Bunnies in Europe will have some heavy lifting to do delivering the 2018 edition Transformers Easter Eggs from Sorpresovo. The colorful plastic eggs are filled with robots in surprise, including three blind packed action figures from the One Step Changers, Titan Guardians and Last Knight Legion series for around $40 USD. Read on to get a look at the package toy and sample images below.
Though we don't think anyone could be blamed for confusing this with cab-robot Ultra Magnus, MP-711 Convoy, the Masterpiece Optimus Prime redecoed and sold exclusively by 7 Eleven in Japan is currently being shipped out. Via pcwr_Etchy
on Twitter, we have some in hand images of the newest member of the MP-10 redeco family. This release doesn't feature any new accessories or mold changes that we know of, but does have a new deco for just about everything, including the Matrix which now looks positively watermelon
. You can check out the gallery below to have a look at this figure and see the details of its new deco.
Thanks to Brazilian hobby blog T-Hunted, we have an image showing off upcoming Jada die-cast car products for 2018. Among a selection of Marvel and other licensed property vehicles, a few Transformers entries can be seen, including G1-inspired vehicles for Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, along with Optimus Prime as he appeared in the earlier part of the live action movie series, and one more silhouetted Volkswagen that's almost certain to be Bumblebee as he will appear in his self-titled movie later this year. We've mirrored the image, and you can find that below with a link to the original blog post.
Weibo user NOTRAB
has posted a gallery of upcoming Studio Series
Leader class Grimlock! The new-mold figure is a significant visual upgrade compared to the original 2014 Leader mold. While we might wish for more color, we can't rightly pin that on Hasbro as these figures are designed to be as screen-accurate as they can possibly be. Artist Emiliano Santalucia has shared a very interesting piece of design work on Facebook. Concept art for the Titan Master Loudmouth shows something that had been talked about previously, but probably not seen or heard of widely: Some of the single-pack Titan Masters weren't always going to be the legacy characters they became. This shows in the Loudmouth concept work where, while a few body details are recognizable from the final toy, the large robot face is entirely different from what the toy ended up with. It's unfortunate we never got to see this realized in plastic, but it's cool to have a look at what might have been. Check the full image out below!
While the price points larger than Deluxe were not part of the official preview offering of Studio Series that began during Toy Fair weekend on Hasbro Toy Shop, it seems like availability is not much of a problem in Asia right now. The Vietnamese Facebook group Transformers Club currently has numerous photos of wave 1 Voyager Optimus Prime, based on the character's appearance in Revenge of The Fallen
. The photos were shared by Vu Ngoc Bach and show lots of detail of the toy in an outdoor setting that's very flattering. We have the photos mirrored below, click through to take a look!
Thanks to Alfes2010, we've got a selection of nice photos of the just-released in Japan Targetmaster Hot Rod Masterpiece figure. The photos shared via Twitter show off MP-40 in a standard overview of the robot and vehicle modes, including weapons attachment options like the new Targetmaster connection on the hood of the car. We also have some side by side shots with the original MP-28 Hot Rod, which serves to demonstrate very effectively the deco changes between releases. We've mirrored a number of these photos, which you can find below!
Japanese toy blogger Tagoal
has posted some images of his latest toy haul to Twitter! He has pretty much the entire Legends
and Movie The Best
lineups for February: LG61 Clonetrons, LG62 Targetmaster Windblade, LG63 G2 Megatron, MB-12 Jazz, MB-13 Bonecrusher, MB-14 Megatron, and MB-15 Lockdown. We've mirrored the images here, so keep reading to see!
Via Weibo, we have some ...interesting photos to show of the brand new Studio Series Movie Bumblebee figure. The newest Bumblebee is a brand new try at the 2007 movie's Classic Camaro alt mode, and the overall effort in realizing that looks pretty good. But it may not be as exciting when you see its size compared to The Last Knight Premier Edition Bumblebee for last year. The mirrored comparison photos make it hard to escape the sense that it's distinctly less toy for the same price. Click through to see it for yourself!
Thanks to our sponsor, Robootkingdom, we have some first hand looks at the Takara Transformers LG-61 Clone Drone Set, LG-62 Target Master Windblade and the LG-63 G2 Megatron. Preorder. These produsts start shipping on February 24th, 2018. Read on to see the images and more information.
From a Japanese hobby magazine via Singapore fan group Planet Iacon,
we have an image that seems to show chest and shoulder design art for a new G1-styled Optimus Prime figure. Is this a new Masterpiece version 3.0? Or something else entirely? It'll be a good while before we know, but meanwhile, keep reading to see the image!
