Autobots and Decepticons will be returning to Cartoon Network in Q1 2016 for season 2 of the popular Hasbro animated television series Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Starring the loveable Bumblebee, summoned by Optimus Prime to lead a fight to save Earth from a new faction of escaped Decepticon prisoners by assembling a rogue team of unlikely Autobot heroes, season 2 of the Hasbro animated series will see the return of a more confident, battle-tested Bumblebee as the key leader alongside comrades Grimlock, Sideswipe, Strongarm, Fixit, Wingblade and Drift.
The International Animated Film Society (ASIFA) has announced the nominations for their 43 annual Annie Awards, and Rescue Bots is on the list! The episode "I Have Heard The Robots Singing" was nominated for Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production For Preschool Children, and represents Hasbro Studios' only nomination for this year. As was previously discussed, the second season of Robots In Disguise was revealed to be shorter than the first, prompting fans to consider the possibility that this would be its last season. Now the webpage for the Asia TV Forum & Market strengthens that rumor by showing that the last three episodes of season 2 are also available as a single 65-minute movie, much in the vein of Transformers Prime closer Predacons Rising. The official Takara Transformers web site has been updated with news of the Transformers Adventure Second Season that will be coming to Japan on September 30, 2015. The show is listed to begin show on Animax Sunday morning September 20 at 9:00 am. It will also be shown on Tokyo MX starting Monday October 5, 2015 at 6:30 pm.

The timeslot is the same - 6:30 AM - so you'll still have to get up pretty early in the morning to catch it. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Hasbro and Machinima have partnered to make a Combiner Wars animated series! The series is said to be aimed at teens and adults, and will be based on the Combiner Wars story as seen in the toys and IDW comic books. Vimeo has announced that they will be offering the original Transformers Cartoon for streaming! Invidual episodes will cost 0.99 USD to rent and $2.99 to own and view by streaming and/or download - but the much better option is to buy the whole series for $40. In what appears to be last minute deal, Tranformers and other Hasbro shows will be staying on with Netfilx. As we reported previously, Hasbro and Netflix were to go their own way last month when a new deal fell through. However, without disclosing the terms of the detail. USA Today reports Netflix let be known that Hasbro Studios shows aren't going anywhere. Good news for Netflix customers who need their Transformers fix.

In case you had any doubts as to why Hasbro chose to try and make their own kids' network in the first place, TV Insider reports that we finally have a premiere date and regular timeslot for Robots In Disguise: the show will premiere Saturday, March 14th at 6PM,
a month or so after the rest of the world gets it, and the regular timeslot will begin the following Saturday, March 21st at 6:30AM
