Thanks to Radio Free Cybertron for cooking up this Optimus Prime turkey bot that has been dubbed "Gobtimus Prime." We hope that every one of our readers and listeners will have a great holiday and eat lots of bot parts this year. Enjoy!
Looks like the Autobot leader will be joining this year's Hallamark holiday tree ornaments offering this year. We knew about the Soundwave and Last Knight Hot Rod, but the addition of the Generation 1 styled Optimus Prime is a little bit of a surprise, literally. As this one seem to be scaled down a bit from the previous edition.
Three A, makers of high end - and high price - action figures including a range of licensed Transformers figures has revealed a new entry tonight, exclusive to ThinkGeek. Ultra Magnus is a redeco of the Optimus Prime figure, naturally in the unarmored cab-robot form. Its features are more or less the same as the Optimus figure it's derived from, including basic accessory loadout. ThinkGeek's price is just about $400 and they're accepting orders for the new Ultra Magnus right now. Click through to see the promo photos and a link to the product page.

Unfortunately, they won't be serving up the Prime stuff just yet, as this deal is focused on the Transformers vs GI Joe side of things. There is more than meets the wallet coming our way in the form of "Art Figures" and other collectibles such as pins and skateboards. Read on for images and more details.
Once again, Twitter user @miiakira2017
has posted an image of their Transformers-related design work. Today, it's a classic car- the specific make, if any, eludes RAC - that would have turned into a laser pistol-wielding cowboy. Though there's a slight resemblance to 2010's Hunt for the Decepticons
Scout-class Hubcap, the replies peg this as a Diaclone
-era design, so well before that figure was designed and likely a coincidence. Keep reading to see!
Hobby Lobby has had a few waves now of different kinds of Transformers art stamped in to sheet metal. A new offering in this line has just recently hit, bringing some new choices. We found today two pieces featuring G1 Optimus, and Bumblebee, represented in the design of the 2006 Classics toy, at Hobby Lobby. They were priced at $18.99 each, which may seem a touch steep for something the size of perhaps a small calendar. But we can't deny the art on them look really sharp. Click through for images of both!
Twitter account continues to share G1 design work! Today, we've got some sketches for Octane, described here in a very British way as a "Tank Lorry"; artwork for a pair of folding launcher bays designed in the Diaclone Car Robots
days, and what are described as figure studies for "erasers," but don't seem to match either the Decoys or the G1 erasers that were produced - at least the US ones. Keep reading to see the images!
Via Imaginarium Art we have some photos of a new release coming up, featuring Starscream in his coronation gear from the original Transformers: The Movie. Starscream is posed seated on a throne ...made of missiles? It seems an odd choice in home furnishings, but perhaps alien robots have different sensibilities. The new statue is marked as a "build to order" item, but with a production run limit of 400 pieces. It's available from sponsor BigBadToyStore
now as a preorder for $1199.99. Click through to see all the photos!

has once again posted some new G1 design sketches! This time, it's for a pretty interesting footnote in Transformers history: an unproduced Transformers Personal Organizer! The book would've had a few real pages, backed by a stack of dummy pages that then turned into a robot. Autobot and Decepticon versions were designed with slightly different surface details for each. Keep reading to see!
Thanks to @miiakira2017 on Twitter we have even more looks at early Transformers concept designs from Japan. These are more even more fantastic than before with looks at two different base concepts.
The first is what looks like a transforming case that is a mock mountain that opens up to reveal a multi-teir base with all kinds of ramps, ladders, weapons and what appears to be Sky Spy type probe. The other is much more Diaclone looking with a big carrier type base with tiny-looking tank treads to indicate scale.

has posted some concept art from the early days of Transformers! How early, you may ask? In some cases, Diaclone
early! The images are primarily of an early version of Metroplex who was of a much stockier, more Grandus-like build in this stage of development. Also, a base mode for Optimus Prime/Battle Convoy's cab, and an Autobot symbol carry case that would have turned into a base of its own! Keep reading to see the images!
HasCon begins, and we're covering the news from the Convention going on now in Rhode Island. Just in are the first looks at the Transformers display with prototypes a plenty. We are just uploading the images now and will be adding details ASAP.
Just in by way of Tfcn's facebook page we have a new leaked image that may be a preview of the 2018 Power of the Primes line or something else we've not identified yet. The image showing a very G1 looking design of the Optimus Prime truck mode appears to be part of a bigger image that shows the robot mode as well. Hard to tell the class, the mold does look on the simple side. It is likely a smaller scale.
