On Facebook, Soldier Story Toys has shared a couple of pictures relating to their impressive and expensive Unicron statue-lamps. One shows the products being boxed for shipping from their factory, which is followed by a photo of several pieces lined up and tagged for final inspections against flaws or defects. This lamp still clocks in close to $1000 each, putting it out of the price range of many, which is quite a shame as this is a lovely piece of decorative merchandise. Check out these new images below!
Following up on their well-received Mega Action Series Optimus Prime, Toys Alliance has announced MAS-02 Megatron on Facebook! TFW2005 has posted slides from a Hasbro presentation to press and investors naming the successor to Transformers: Robots in Disguise
: Transformers Cyberverse!
Airing in 2018, the first season is being labeled as "Chapter One," with a second "chapter" due in 2019. This is speculated by 2005 to be the rumored "G1 Redux" series, especially since it uses G1 placeholder images in the presentation slide. But all we know for certain is the name and that it will follow in RID's footsteps as an ages 6-10 show. Keep reading for more info!
Dirty secret: as much as we like Transformers that turn into recognizeable (and sometimes even working) objects, like the Device Label figures and the MicroChange side of G1... we have completely lost track of how many versions of the AU Infobar x Transformers figure there are. All we can say for sure of this particular example, thanks to TakaraTomy, is that it's the "Annin Version" and seems to have a Movie Optimus Prime-inspired deco. It'll be out in mid-December in Japan for 5400 Yen. Keep reading for photos!
Just up on their official page, Toys Alliance have posted a new image revealing their MAS-02 MEGATRON figure that will released as part of their Mega Action figure series. The image of the artists rendering shows the officially licensed non-transforming 18-inch figure design.
This will be followed by the prototype figure that will be on display at the Animation Comic Game Hong Kong show on 7/28 – 8/1. Get a look at the MAS-02 Megatron concept image after the jump for the full look.

A Weibo leak yesterday clued us in to the existence of a second electronic device Transformer from Xiaomi, makers of the tablet Soundwave released at about this time last year. Today we have package images of the Optimus Prime device, revealing it to be not a tablet, but a functioning USB battery! The back of the package states it includes "2 3.6V 6500 mAh, non-replaceable, rechargeable Li-ion batteries", giving it a total capacity of 13,000 mAh. Quite decent, though we expect the price to be out of proportion for its capacity given that it also becomes a robot! Click through to see the new images.

Autobase Aichi has posted new images of TakaraTomy Arts' second wave of Transformers Bitfigs! If you'd like a small break from the endless waves of The Last Knight merchandise right now, this might be of interest! Preorders went up on Entertainment Earth for two sculpted mugs, bearing the likenesses of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee - the G1 varieties, that is. Each mug is about $20, and from the mockup art looks like they'll have fairly detailed sculpts. They're expected around August - just be careful you don't poke yourself in the eye with one of Optimus Prime's ears! Keep reading for the images.

Looks like the two foot tall Unicron is not the end for statuary from Soldier Story. The generously-described "lamp" that depicts Unicron standing atop Cybertron's surface is apparently to be joined in future by a planet mode Unicron as well. No indication of its specific light up elements yet, though it seems to be more of a prototype, at least judging by its stand being partly comprised of Bandai Action Base parts. Also shown was a grey prototype for Rodimus Prime unleashing the power of the Matrix. It's a bit easier to guess what will light up on that one! Check out the pictures below.
