Encased in an interlocking Autobot emblem that when pulled open emits Transformer sounds, this tome is a gift to humans from Alpha Trion, one of the ancient Thirteen Primes—the first of the Transformers. Little is known about Alpha Trion, and the rest of the Thirteen Primes have been shrouded in mystery—until now.
Hasbro today announced that it has signed publishing agreements with becker&mayer and IDW Publishing, and reached agreement in principal with Little, Brown Books for Young Children, to create and publish collectible gift books that blend unique storytelling with exclusive art based on the TRANSFORMERS and MY LITTLE PONY brands. From Disciples of Boltax by Jimtron: As promised, the last part of the Hasbro Briefing Binder. These pages were loose and in the front of the binder. The most interesting bits here are the more finalized character model for Chip Chase, which I featured yesterday on the blog as an Ark Addendum, and a section on the 1985 products coming down the pike. In addition to the usual suspects, four (yup, four) Dinobots, Shockwave, Insecticons, Constructicons, etc, we get a look at Roadbuster and Whirl among other G1 rarities. Read all about it now at boltax.blogspot.com
Today is Tuesday, and that means an Ark Addendum. I was in the middle of a series on the Predacons, but I thought I'd interrupt it to bring out some a-listers. Today we're covering Chip Chase and Carly, last name unknown. Carly's heads have previously shown up, but I didn't have a full body model for her until recently. This model, btw, is courtesy of 'lexmc via kjeevahh,' who won the Transformers Bible from the Ron Friedman auctions and was kind enough to share this image with me. Check out all the Carly and Chip action now at boltax.blogspot.com
Jim Sorrenson has a new Ark Addendum update for your viewing pleasure. Behold the transformation of Triggerhappy! This week's Ark Addendum veers away from the Masterforce backgrounds that Jim's been covering, to showcase another lovely transformation. Yup, it's Triggerhappy, Decepticon (nee Destron) Targetmaster supreme. Check it out now at boltax.blogspot.com
Jim Sorenson has updated his blog Disciples of Boltax with the fifth and final Ark Addendum regarding the Destron base from the Masterforce series. Why not head over to Jim's blog and check it out at https://boltax.blogspot.com/
Amazon has posted a new pre-order page for the novel "Transformers Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron" by Alex Irvine. The update includes an extensive summary of the story as well as changes to the length of book as just 288 pages now. Read the story of the story of Optimus Prime and Megatron before they were enemies!
Just in is news that Del Rey books will be releasing a new science fiction novel based on the Transformers property titled "Transformers: Exodus." The book is being written by author Alex Irvine. What's quite interesting about this book is it is over 350 pages long. So this looks to be something of epic proportions, not just another kids book. One can only ponder the possibilities.
Jim Sorenson has posted the cover of his upcoming book The AllSpark Almanac onto his blog Disciples of Boltax. The cover was originally unveiled on Amazon when the online store began taking pre-orders. Marcelo Matere is responsible for the cover.
