Flame Toys announced on Twitter today that the fourth figure in the Kuro Kara Kuri series - after Drift, Tarn, and Star Saber - would be none other than Optimus Prime himself. Prototype images were displayed of a design very much in keeping with Flame's output so far: a highly detailed, stylized take on the character.

Amazon Japan has updated product pages for the latest announced TakaraTomy Power of The Primes releases coming up in September. Consistent with the retailer ordering info we posted recently, we're looking at Prime Master Solus Prime (more notable for the Octopunch Pretender shell it lives inside of), Battle Slash and Road Trap, and Titan Class Predaking, giving us more clear photography of the Predacon toys and their exclusive Onyx Prime Master. You can find all of the new photos below!

Emiliano Santalucia shares some images of the original designs for the epic Transformers Titans Return Overloard figure. Emiliano gives up some insights on the character's design that was said to have gone through many revisions before they they settled on the final production version that fans have been begging for ever since forever. Read on to see the images and Emiliano's comment's below.

Two Fusion Cannons. Look at yourself. Site sponsor TFSource has posted new official images of Kuro Kara Kuri Tarn! The non-transforming figure of the popular More Than Meets The Eye/Lost Light character is fully licensed by Hasbro and extremely detailed and poseable. It also has a removable mask, revealing the true identity of the DJD's leader. Keep reading to see!

Per Newsarama, Hasbro Group Editor Sarah Gaydos, who took the job after John Barber stepped down from his editorial duties at IDW in 2016, is moving to a newly-created job at Oni Press. Gaydos will become the Editorial Director of Licensed Publishing at Oni shortly, apparently leaving IDW without a Hasbro Group Editor in the wake of the Unicron universe-ending event. Which honestly makes us even more anxious to see what comes after that. Keep reading for more details.

We were told there were more Power of the Primes exclusives we didn't know about, and here we are! Hasbro's Russian branch posted to the social media site VK.com with an image of what appears to be a new Leader class Nemesis Prime based on the Wave 1 Leader Optimus Prime! The figure sports new accessories and a new headsculpt - making us extremely curious about what the Orion Pax figure in the chest might look like. Keep reading to see!

If you've been hoping for a more detailed look at the Cyber Battalion Shockwave figure that snuck out to Asian and US retail in the last few weeks, you're in luck. TMan978 on our forums has shared a new video review for that figure. While confirming the other in hand reports of things like the limited articulation in unfortunate places, it's still a really good looking Shockwave for anyone wanting a representation of the G1 look (short of going Masterpiece, of course). Check out the full review embedded below!

IDW have updated the listings on their website for the upcoming issues 17 and 18 of Optimus Prime to finally show off the main covers for the issues, both featuring the art of regular interior artist Kei Zama. These issues continue on the storyline of "The Falling", with the return of Onyx Prime. We've previously seen variant covers for these issues as part of their initial solicitation, but this marks our first look at the "A" covers for each. Click through now to get a good look at both!

Loopaza on Facebook has shared out an early retailer listing once again for upcoming TakaraTomy Transformers goods coming in a few months' time. Thanks to that, we now know what September will be bringing us in the Japanese release of Power of The Primes. Not quite as exciting as Legends reveals, since all of the product now will be virtually identical to the Hasbro releases, but at least if nothing else it might offer collectors a bit of a "safety net" in case distribution issues make it hard to find the domestic product. Keep reading to find out what's coming up!

Hasbro Pulse updates with new artwork images of the Transformers Evergreen Grimlock character. Get a look at the Dinbots leader' "conceptual evolution" design in three different versions - Line drawing, colored animation and colored box art styles for the full look below.

IDW writers James Roberts and John Barber both confirmed on Twitter yesterday that IDW will continue to publish Transformers comics in a new continuity once the upcoming Unicron series closes out the first IDW universe. What shape that new universe will take is currently unknown, as is who will be writing it - but IDW Transformers comics will continue, and that sounds like good news to us. Keep reading!

Newsarama has posted an IDW press release that have shown us the exact shape of Unicron - literally and figuratively! Featuring the first image of IDW Unicron by artist Alex Milne, the series is also revealed as a 6-issue biweekly series beginning in July - and one that will mark the end of IDW's continuity as we know it. Read on for details!

We would've said that Predaking was going backpacking in our previous, nature-themed roundup of photos, but the individual Predacons weren't on display. Autobase Aichi has fixed that with this new gallery of photos, which also gives us the best look yet into how Predaking actually combines. Keep reading to see!

While neither a natural habitat for robotic animals nor plastic toys, a Weibo user has posted images of Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking getting back to nature. Or at least playing around in some back yard! The figure is shown off in a variety of poses, and in a couple of them the elongated waist section doesn't even look that bad. Keep reading to see!

Loopaza Mega Store has posted this month's scans from Figure King (Figure-Oh) magazine, and they provide possibly the best look we've yet had at Power of the Primes Optimal Optimus! (It also reinforces the idea that the lower half of his faceplate will probably not be painted on the final version of the toy, something that is going to bother us basically forever. Also on tap are images of Elita-Inf1nite and a shot of Abominus arranged G1 style - that is, with the flattest panels of the Terrorcons facing forward, and no elbows. Keep reading to see all that and more!
