Generations Sightings Generations

It's a lot of notable in-store sightings lately, isn't it? More of wave 4 Titans Return is filtering its way in to retail in North America, as the Leader Class case has now been spotted. Much like Broadside recently, Sky Shadow was found at a Walmart in Burlington, Ontario. For those keeping score, as of this writing the only wave 4 assortment not accounted for somewhere in North America is the Legends, with Titan Masters and Deluxes found in the US, and Voyager and Leader having appeared in Canada. Spotter Yonoid took a picture for proof, find it below!

Coinciding with the first major retail sighting of wave 4's Titan Masters, we've got a confirmed sighting today of the wave 3 Voyager assortment finally making its way to brick and mortar retail in the US. A Lawton, OK Walmart produced the find, as documented by Smitty.1981. Wave 3 contains the Optimus and Megatron "pretools" of Octane and Blitzwing. With this sighting, the only wave 3 price point not to achieve distribution so far is the Leader class, containing Sixshot - although the Deluxes have yet to make major traction themselves. Picture proof of the find in the full post below!

It's been a while since Arizona was getting all the cool stuff first, but thanks to @more_jetpacks on Twitter, we've found out that the Magical Toy Wonderland has had a return to form: the Wave 4 Titan Masters have been sighted at a Sierra Vista, AZ Walmart! Keep reading for a photo of the two new figures in the wave, Repugnus and Shuffler.

With not even a hint of US-based retailers offering preorders so far, we're starting to get confirmed sightings of Titans Return Wave 4 hitting brick and mortar stores in North America. First up is Voyager Broadside which has been found in a Toronto Walmart. Canada has previously been a little ahead with numerous sightings of Leader Sixshot. On the US side, Walgreens are starting to receive Deluxe wave 4, with a photo-verified find of Perceptor, and several more reports of others in the assortment. Find the proof images by neevnav and shogun221 below!

Every so often, wires get crossed at the distribution level. Such is the stuff of Collector Legend made - like the time TJ Maxx got a wave of Generations Voyagers before they made their debut at full retail price. Or the sightings of Titans Return Brainstorm at Walmart earlier this year! This time, TFW2005 forums member smf2045 has spotted a full case of six Combiner Wars Grooves at an Orangevale, California Walmart. Unless more reports come in I wouldn't go out hunting at your local store, but keep reading to see the photographic proof all the same!

Thanks to cdavid3 and Sky Ray we have new brick-and-mortar retail updates for you today! First up, Titans Return Deluxe Wave 3 - Hot Rod, Triggerhappy, Twinferno (Doublecross), and Breakaway (Getaway) - have been seen at Toys R Us in Fremont, California, signaling their introduction to the regular distribution system in the US. And in wacky discount chain news, the Platinum Edition Dinobots set, the Age of Extinction figures with G1-style robot heads, was found in a Pasadena, CA Ross store, priced at $44.99. The holiday distribution rush seems to be upon us, so good hunting! Photographic proof is below!

Join the battle with 6 Destron figures that combine to form the mighty Liokaiser with this exclusive Transformers Platinum Edition sets. Listed for $129.99 USD on Pre-order now at bigbadtoystore.com and TFSource. The Voyager Class Dezarus figure forms the torso; the Deluxe Class Guyhawk, Drillhorn, Ironbison, and Fellbat figures form the arms and legs; and the Legends Class Ion Scythe figure becomes a Combiner weapon. The pack also includes 12 accessories, a Combiner Wars poster, instructions, and a collectible Liokaiser character card.

We've known for a little while that TJ Maxx and Marshall's discount stores in the US have been receiving the G2 Menasor and Superion Combiner Wars boxsets at a reduced price. Thanks to a new report from "M-A-K", we now know Computron has been added to that list, found at the same very reasonable $39.99 as the first two sets. No location was given for the TJ Maxx in question, but a nearby Marshall's yielded a pair of Titans Return Astrotrain at the current pricing of $14.99. So it sounds like it's definitely worth your time to get out and looking in your area! Photos from the sightings are below.

Transformers Unite Warriors UW-EX Baldigus is a five pieces combiner bot with the figure Mega Octane as the main torso piece. Armorhide, Rollbar, Mover, and Rotor make up the arms and legs and they can be attached in any position that you wish. Also included are the combiner feet hands and connector pieces as well as personal weapons for each of the bots. This item is priced at $159.99 USD with a March 2017 shipping time. Pre-order it now from bigbadtoystore.com

Thanks to Michael Mullins-Wright, we have the first verified sighting of Titans Return Brainstorm in the US! A Walgreens in San Diego (which probably doesn't narrow things down much) has received stock. Reportedly there were four units at this location, which may be an indicator of the quantity to be expected at any given store. Whether restocks are subsequently possible will remain to be seen. So if you're after this figure to finish out your main 1987 Autobot team, it's time to start hunting!

TFW2005 user Rastafarian has posted photographic proof of finding Titans Return Brainstorm in a brick-and-mortar store! ...except it was found at Walmart, not Walgreens where it is supposed to be an exclusive. Odds are very good this is just a mistake. Shipments go to the wrong places sometimes. But the good news is, that means that Brainstorm is likely shipping to Walgreens now, so hopefully it will work its way through the pharmacy franchise's supply chain and get to us shortly. Keep reading to see the photo!

TFSource updates with new of the now up for pre-order. This is the deluxe online exclusive groove that combines with the other Protectobots (Sold Separately) to form the mighty Defensor! Combines with the following protectobots (sold separately): Deluxe Class Protectobot Blades, Deluxe Class Protectobot First Aid, Deluxe Class Protectobot Streetwise, Voyager Class Protectobot Hotspot

Big Bad Toy Store have just sent out an announce for new in-stock listings for the Transformers Generations Titan wars Return Deluxe 02 & Voyager 02 Waves figures that just went up. The deluxes 02 wave contains Highbrow, Chromedome, Mindwipe, and Wolfwire. The voyagers will include Alpha Trion and Astrotrain in the wave 02 case. Read on for the full details and ordering links.

With wave 1 only just really hitting its stride for in-store availability, we now have indication that wave 2 is entering the US distribution system. Silvershot has provided photos of a sighting of Deluxe Highbrow (with Chromedome just barely visible behind), and of all places it came from a Walgreens in Los Angeles! Of course these are at a premium above that which we already regularly pay, ringing up at $19.99 each. The very random nature of the tiny toy shelves at Walgreens mean this may remain somewhat isolated within the chain - but wave 2 is out there, so keep your eyes open! Check below for the photos.

In the Combiner Wars, teams of Autobots and Decepticons combine to form giant super robots and battle with the fate of worlds in the balance. Computron is never wrong. Of all the Combiner robots, he is the most successful at merging the different personalities of his component bots. The Autobot processes input from each of Technobots and evaluates all possible outcomes to identify the perfect plan of attack. This item is priced at $99.99 USD, now in stock at bigbadtoystore.com
