Generations Video Review Generations

Prowl is the second of two new Cyber Series figures coming out in some international markets. Thanks again to chuckdawg1999 on our forums we have a review to share with you for this figure. Though like Jetfire it has some of the characteristic design choices of its line, like absent mid-limb swivel joints and such, all in all this looks like a pretty solid Prowl figure to join the lineup of these larger scale, simple toys. Check out the review video below.

Our forums member chuckdawg1999 has gone after the newest offerings from the Generations Cyber Series, the line of large figures based on engineering designs of Legends and Cyberverse Class figures, designed for select international markets outside North America. In this video we get to see Jetfire, a moderate retool of the previously released Starscream figure. You can get a look at the differences between the figures, and how those impact transformation, all in the embedded video below!

We've got another quick review from the RFC Reviews channel as diecast takes a look at the one fully new mold from the Chaos on Velocitron box set, Fastclash. The trademark-renamed Fastlane had been stated at the Toy Fair Q&A event to be a unique size class between Legends and Deluxe, but as diecast demonstrates in this review, the figure seems very decidedly just a Legends Class. You can find out all about that and more in the video below!

There's a lot of versions of this mold in the pipeline, with a proper Laser Optimus Prime and Triple Changer Octaone being the two most notable. But, is it worth having this specific version? Well... Click here to read and watch the review!

From chuckdawg1999: "Better late than never! Soundwave has been a bit hard to find in the US, but I was able to finally get the figure. Like most repaints/retools there are some things better on Soundwave and some things that are worse. Overall what I liked about Blaster, I like about Soundwave and I'm happy to have what I feel is a proper update to the G1 toy." Keep reading to see the review!

Just when you thought they were gone, they're back! This box set is a platinum edition / Entertainment Earth exclusive, the Liokaiser set! Based on Sky Reign and heavily remolded with different deluxe appendages, is this set worth your money? The cost is lowering on some places like Amazon, so watch, subscribe, like and whatnot to see if this set does anything for you!

Hot Rod is a good figure in the Titans Return line. It's not better, or worse than its Classic version, it just is. Car mode is good with a passable robot mode. If you're on the fence and have a version of the Classic mold, you can pass this figure up.

The RFC Reviews Youtube channel has finished out videos for the three new molds from Titans Return Deluxe wave 4. Radio Free Cybertron's diecast has posted the video review for Perceptor, featuring the return to the character's classic microscope alternate mode, and the mobile artillery secondary alt mode also inspired by the original toy. You can see the transformations for both, as well as the usual run down of articulation and a general overview of the details. The video is embedded below, click through now to watch!

Once again on the RFC Reviews channel, diecast from Radio Free Cybertron has posted a video review for one of the new mold figures from Titans Return Deluxe wave 4. Kup and Flintlock is tonight's entry, and we get to take a good look at it through articulation and transformation, as well as side by side with the original G1 toy. We get a closeup look at the head, and some side by side shots with other Titans Return figures, revealing Kup is surprisingly on the tall side! All that and more are in the video, embedded below. Click through and have a look!

Over on the RFC Reviews Youtube channel, diecast from Radio Free Cybertron has posted a new video featuring Topspin from Titans Return Deluxe wave 4. The review does a good job showing off what the figure can do in articulation and highlights some improved tolerances on the Titan Master neck connector. And in both robot and vehicle mode, we get to see how much bigger Topspin is compared to typical prior Titans return Deluxes. The video is embedded below, so click through and check it out.

Titans Return wave 4 includes two new molds at the Titan Master pricepoint. The Monsterbot Repugnus, and Shuffler, who is based on a Japanese exclusive individual release Headmaster Warrior. Neither has received very much attention yet, but on Youtube chefatron has uploaded a pair of videos giving a quick look at both little toys. Though not the most detailed takes, they do give a workable overview of what both have to offer. The videos can be found below, embedded in the full news post!

Titans Return Deluxe wave 4 has the unusual distinction of including five different toys on its first run. While case revisions can lead to this after a certain time has passed, since the start of Combiner Wars, initial assortments have uniformly held four different molds. The new-face recolors Krok and Quake join three new molds to make wave 4 - and surprisingly these recolors are getting just as much attention as the new guys! Chefatron has some early reviews of both of these affording a good chance to look over both figures and see if these need to go on your shopping list for the near future. Keep reading to see both videos!

Following up on ExVee's Gnaw Gallery, RAC reviews the figure! He's a cute little guy, and the troop-builder you'd want a Sharkticon to be. He also has a fun Titan Master interaction! Shark Mode is a little bit better than Robot Mode, which bears the brunt of the Legends budget's compromises, but nothing about the figure is outright bad. Click here to read and watch the review!

Once more from our friend on the forums TMan978 we have a video to share. The wave 3 Legends assortment is finished off with this review of Gnaw, the troop-build bait for 2017's Generations offerings! Good thing it's packed multiple to a case. You can watch the video embedded below to get a good idea of how this figure works in practice, and to see even more, you can go to our Titans Return Gnaw photo gallery as well! It all starts just below, so keep reading.

Once again straight from our forums, TMan978 has shared a new video with us. Continuing through the newest Legends assortment, today we have Kickback, the very long-awaited final member of the original Insecticon group. The video shows some thorough comparisons with earlier entries Bombshell and Skrapnel (Shrapnel), plus the usual transformation demo and looks at the toy's two modes individually. The video is embedded below, so click through and watch now!
