Power Core Combiners Power Core Combiners

Thanks to Peaugh who has posted another of his wonderfully detailed Transformers video reviews. We get the collectors review of the Power Core Combiners Grimstone team with Dinobots figures. This set is one of the few PCC combiners that fans seem to really be interested in. Even if Bay thinks they are silly, we love them Dinobots. Check out the video and see if these figures are worthy of the distinction.

Well it looks like these Power Core Combiners are all the rage (good and bad) with fans. Either they love them and they are selling well, or these deals are a sign that retailers want to flush these turds. In any event, we've got news of Target offering the combiner sets for just $10 on Black Friday. Not sure if that will get you off the couch to line up at 5 AM, but there it is. Thanks to Tformers sponsor BigBadToyStore who has posted new pre-order listings for the coming waves of Transformers Power Core Combiners action figures. The listings includes pages for the Stunticons 5-pack set that features the G1 homage of Drag Strip serving as the commander Spastic. There are also two new Commander 2-packs listed for Salvage the Mudslinger redeco with Chainclaw redeco Bomburst as well as Undertow with Waterlog.Check out all the listings and images now at

Many thanks to ACToys member God of Insects who has posted a bunch of new in-hand images of the Power Core Combiners Dinobots action figures team! The new images give us lots of new looks at these way cool Dinoformer toys. Get all the angles on them show in and out of the packaging. Hasbro says they have nothing to do with G1, but they sure are full of WIN! See them all and comment after the jump.

Thanks to KO Toys' emgo316 who has posted a couple of new video reviews for the Transformers Power Core Combiner line that all the fans love to hate. I am really happy to see the Lego Bionicle figure on there as I have alway said, this is Hasbro's 1/2 baked attempt to appeal to the Bionicle toys. Ah well, here's a couple more reviews for you to not watch of Icepick and Chanclaw and well as Mudslinger and Destructicons.

Everyone is aware by now how most fans feel about the Constructicon's treatment in the ROTF movie. However, there may be redemption down the road via the Power Core Combiner lineup. We get a sneak peek of sorts with Sledge, a 2pk commander with a construction vehicle alt mode. Will it offer hope or more disappointment? Hopefully this review will aid in an answer.

For years, Autobots and Decepticons have fought one another with neither gaining an edge over the other. Today, Power Core Combiners give these warriors new strenth! Each robot can combine with drone limbs (sold separately) to make new, large, and fearsome robots in disguise! Measures about 3 1/2-inches tall. Case of 6 individually packaged Power Core Combiners includes: Steelshot with Beacon, Windburn with Darkray and Darkstream with Razorbeam. Read more order info at

Who says you can't pay respects to Generation 2? Hasbro certainly doesn't think so. As part of the Power Core Combiner lineup, they have brought back the Autobot Leadfoot and paired him up with Pinpoint. Click here to read the full review.

More news in from the Tranasformers Collectors Club who have listed new Power Core Combiners packaged images for the new combiner and figure set. These include Autobots combiners Grimstone and Dinobots, Decepticons combiners Steamhammer and Constructicons, Autobots Heavytread with Groundspike figures, and Decepticons figure Skyhammer with Airlift. Check them all out now at the Transformers Collectors Club Store.

Thanks to nihaohuwen, we have new looks at the Transformers Power Core Combiners Grimstone with team Dinobots prototype figures. Hasbro told us during BotCon 2010 that they found Transformers fans have a geniune love of the Dinobots, so they decided that the Dinobots team is a great addition to the Power Core line. The set was unveiled to the public (where pictures could be taken) at China's first convention CybertronCon. The Dinobots will be released as the first wave of 2011.

Hasbro rolling out the Power Core Combiners to the retail as we speak. With lots more to comes in the series, thanks to Toy Drop Images we have some new looks at the Power Core Combiners Sledge with Throttler side kick and comibined with Bombshock drones. I have to admit, this figure has good head mold and that saw blade jutting from the chest is truly robot sexy.

We couldn't very well have a new Autobot PCC combiner without another Decepticon in tow, now could we? The second half of our Wave 2 5-pack review brings us to Mudslinger. To check him out, all you need to do is click here.

Get ready because wave 2 of the Power Core Combiners is slowly rolling out at Walmarts everywhere. Wave two of the 5-packs will consist of Mudslinger and the Destrons, as well as Double Clutch with the Rallybots. Click here to check out the review on Double Clutch.

Alright, I'll admit that while PCC aren't the best from the transformer lines, they aren't half bad either. It's sort of a guilty pleasure of mine that I enjoy collecting the little minicons that come in the 2-packs. Now when it comes to transformers, I love experimenting around with the pieces, putting one character's gun in the hand of another etc etc etc. Well today I was bored and just started playing around with the minicons, and ended up with this! Post your comments and your own Combiners you've created in the Diccussion Topic.

BBTS has preorder listings for the Power Core Combiner Destron, & Protectobot sets. Destron is a redeco of wave 1 Huffer who traded his minicon for a set of drones, While Protectobot features a redeco of wave 1 Smolder doing the same. The drones are a mix and match from the Aerialbots and Combaticons sets. Each are available individually for $24.99, or paired for $47.99. The figures are expected for a September arrival. Check out the listing for Destrons, Protectobots and rotectobots & Destrons at BBTS.
