Third Party Third Party

Thanks to Butterfly Effect TF Photobox, we have the opportunity to look at lots of photos from an event being held in Singapore. Bot Fest 2017 is showing off products from several major manfacturers, with representation from Fans Hobby, MakeToys, MMC in both Reformatted and Ocular Max labels, KFC, X-Transbots, and even more! Highlights include a Reformatted series Thunderclash, prototype for MakeToys Highbrow, and for those in the market for upsize bootlegs, there's even a Shattered Glass Optimus on display. In all there's over 100 photos in our gallery, check them all out just below in the full post!

This week on Radio Free Cybertron: Recent leaks are starting to fill in the gaps from Power of the Primes. We've got a peek at Abominus, and the Elita-1, and Inferno-based combiners. Speaking of peeks, we barely got our first peek about Cyberverse and we speculate wildly as to what it means. Also on the show Don has Ouchicus My Walletus, plus Diecast got Scoria Take II, and traded in his car for good measure. Now that's #Dononomics!

Well, the problem of not having anything to display with Galaxy Meteor seems as though it'll be solved in due time! Butterfly Effect TF Photobox on Facebook has posted an image showing a variety of new MMC figures currently in the works, including versions of Cybertron Override as well as Drift, Thunderclash, and more! Keep reading to see.

PS-11 Omne is next up in MMC's Ocular Max Perfection Series! Omne is MP scaled and features die-cast chest and feet and transforms from a UFO to robot and back!

Over the summer, DX9 revealed their entry in the new market of Masterpiece-compatible unofficial Omega Supremes, Gabriel. It then went quiet for a while. But now we know why, and there's a new prototype photo to top it off! Apparently some modification were being made to the design after the first reveal, which naturally led to delays in showing any more promotional content for the product. A color testshot is promised sometime in the near future, but right now you can click through and see the non-color prototype mirrored below.

This week on Radio Free Cybertron: We're back from an awesome TFcon. Almost every single thing about the convention was perfect, except for one small thing that left many fans disappointed. We'll discuss. On a COMPLETELY UNRELATED note, is third party in a death spiral? We take on that debate and the sides chosen may surprise you. Also on the show: we got tons of toys over the weekend at TFcon, and we share our hauls for the week. Diecast finally gives Kronos that viking funeral it deserves. Yes! He did it! He finally really did it. That maniac! He burned it up! All that plus this week's news including the reissue God Fire Convoy that you probably don't need. It's a madhouse on this week's RFC!

TFSource have listed the X2 Toys Sky Crusher figure for pre-order. We finally get a look at this highly anticipated piece with the first color photos of this impressive figure. The unofficial redux of G1 Jetfire has loads of articulation and even a Gerwalk mode. The figure is scheduled to ship next month, November 2017. Read on to see the images and more info on ordering.

From diecast on RFC Reviews we have what we're pretty sure is the first video review for Meteor - original recipe style, that is, G1 cartoon inspired rather than Galaxy Meteor. Meteor goes for as much of a cartoon-inspired look for Starscream as is practical on a figure that can still transform, and that efforts looks quite successful with mainly smooth surfaces, bright colors, and slightly rounded edges that clearly set it apart from where the official MP Starscream was aimed. The video review is a little over half an hour. Check it out embedded below for your first in hand look at this brand new release!

TFCon USA's Third Party Panel just finished earlier this afternoon. We can't show you any of the slides that were displayed since the TFCon organizers do not release them to the majority of sites that might be interested in carrying them afterward, but we can sum up the presentation pretty quickly: Lots of things that have already been shown off, and more of the same things everyone is doing or has done already. Few new reveals, and most were only shown as concept art or renders. At least one report from the event noted booing from the audience at the end of the presentation. It seems not to have been a good day for unlicensed products. Keep reading to find out more...

Twitter user and noted toy photographer @FakeEyes22 is at TFCon, and he's getting photos of the new Third Party products on display! There's a couple of MP-style Springer-style figures, yes... But also FansHobby Monsterbots, DNA Designs' Susanoo (the Revenge of the Fallen-style Bludgeon), and an intriguing Titans Return Overlord upgrade kit that seems to replace 2/3rds of the figure in pursuit of matching Legends Series God Ginrai for height and mass. We've mirrored his photos here for your convenience - keep reading to see them all!

Fans or the Takara God Ginrai set will be interested to hear about the Maketoys Manus + Divine Suit Boxset. This is is the latest figure in the Maketoys Cross Dimension Series. The third party realization of this set has gotten the super deluxe treatment with extra articulation, detailing, weapons and accessories that bring this classic set into the modern day. Read on for images and more details.

Alien Attack Toys has some color photos on Weibo for Firage. This figure represents the character from Dark of The Moon alternately identified as "Dino" and "Mirage" who to date has not had a transforming toy outside of the Cyberverse sizes. The figure is said to be about 15cm (6 inches) tall in robot mode. The photos show a nicely finished and highly poseable robot, as well as a clean car mode - at least from the angles we're shown. We've got the new photos in the gallery below, click through to have a look! You can pre-order this now at BigBadToyStore.com.

Similar to the exclusive redeco for TFCon Toronto over the summer, TFCon USA this weekend will be offering a new deco for the Ocular Max PS-06 Terraegis mold. "Offroad" is a white deco of the unofficial Trailbreaker body, with some mud splatter paint spray that, at least on the promo sample, looks very well done. As revealed on the TFCon website, this exclusive will be available from the Ages Three And Up booth at the show. Keep reading for photos and more info!

On their Twitter, MakeToys has shown off color images for Thunder Manus, the Optimus Prime deco of the mold first released as Thunder Erebus - their analogue to Nemesis Prime. The new images not only show Thunder Manus in color finally, but also reveal the "Divine Suit", a God Ginrai style armor system that functions as a support vehicle - though seems to lack a robot mode of its own. They mark an expected release in December, but no other information is given currently. We've mirrored the pictures, check them out below!
