Takara have announed their next Masterpiece figure release that will be the MP-41 Dinobot character from Beast Wars. The Transformers Hall of Fame fan favorite is finally getting his due with what looks like a fantastic rendering of the cartoon look in both his robot and dino modes. The figure slated to ship in July of 2018 can be seen below along with links to the retailers who are taking pre-orders now.
Over on Facebook, Loopaza has uncovered new info about Masterpiece Beast Wars Dinobot! After what's seemed like forever waiting, we're finally inching towards a real release for our third Beast Wars MP mold, which is reported to be designated as MP-41. But while the release info offers no new images or other details about the figure directly, we do get to find out a release date, and a price to go with it. And it's a bit of a shocker. Take a seat, and keep reading for the details!
Facebook user Sam Scott Robertz
has posted a gallery of MP-36 Golden Lagoon Megatron to Facebook! This is the best look we've gotten at the "Lucky Draw" version of the G1 Masterpiece. We're not quite sure how distribution will work for this, but it likely will be via some kind of contest - and we wouldn't want to transform this, either. Keep reading to see!
The Facebook group Transformers: Rarity of Convoy
has posted images of an MP-36 Megatron in vac-metal gold! Even the accessories have been redone in various types of golden plastic this time around. We don't yet know how many will be available or how, but if we had to guess on those our answers would be "less than 10" and "in a Japan-only contest." Keep reading to see!

we have a look at some of the contents from the latest issue of Figure King Magazine, which has a two page feature on TakaraTomy's release of MPM-4 Optimus Prime. The North American version of the figure is already available at Toys R Us in some areas, so we're already familiar with the toy to some degree. What's important here is deco changes, though it seems that the sample photographed for the magazine may be the same unit shown at Wonderfest recently, which may have been slightly incomplete deco-wise. But we're sure to see plenty more of this before release to make sure. Click through to see the magazine photos!
TakaraTomy's website has been updated with official stock photos from today's reveals. First up is MP-40 Hot Rod, redecoed in a fairly specific variant of the character's cartoon coloring and now sporting Firebolt, in the form of the Offshoot figure that was made for the US release of MP Rodimus Prime several years ago. We've got the full standard photo range, plus a turnaround series for both the robot and vehicle mode, so we get a fairly complete look at this figure. Click through and check it out!
TFND has posted images of MP-40 Targetmaster Hot Rod with his partner Firebolt! While the handgrip is likely a new molding to accomodate the smaller scale of modern Masterpieces, the majority of Firebolt is indeed taken from the "Offshoot" mold released with Hasbro's version of MP-9 Rodimus Prime. Keep reading for photos! This is up for pre-order now at BigBadToyStore.com

Just up on Takara Tomy Mall is the official details and images for the Transformer Movie MPM-4 Optimus Prime figure that will be released in Japan September 16, 2017. The images give a good look at the production paint apps and details along with a reveal of the price. The Autobot Leader will set you back 16,200 JPY ~ $145 USD, were you to buy it in Japan. This figure will surely be available stateside at a later date. Read on to see the images and more details.
Following the teaser and an in hand photo from Facebook shortly after, we've now got the official reveal for the very Ultra Magnus-looking 7 Eleven exclusive version of MP-10 Convoy. Designated as "MP-711" we now know that it will cost 25,000 Yen, and that the order period begins on July 31, and does not appear to have an established end date. MP-711 will become available on February 28, 2018Interestingly, the sale page says repeatedly home delivery is not available, and it sounds like the item must be received from a 7 Eleven location in Japan. It's also limit 2 per person, so this might be rather costly to get hold of for the rest of the world. Keep reading to see the official images!
Images reposted from an uncredited Weibo source turned up on Facebook early this morning, showing that Ultra Magnus has apparently left his City Commander position to go start a new life as a delivery driver for 7 Eleven. Following a tweet from TakaraTomy's TF_pr Twitter account teasing a reveal to happen on 7/28 using a silhouetted MP-10, photos of the cab-robot Ultra Magnus-color MP-10 with 7 Eleven branding in place of Autobot symbols on robot and trailer. This looks like it will be a 7net exclusive, much like the Japanese release of "Nemesis Prime" colors for The Last Knight Voyager Optimus. Keep reading to see the photos!

, we can share with you a report of the first in store sighting in the US for the rerelease of the Toys R Us exclusive MP-10 Optimus Prime. The figure had gone up - rather briefly - on the Toys R Us website for order during SDCC, but sold out quickly. In store sightings, such as this one in Joliet, Illinois will have to do for anyone who needs this toy, at least until or unless it becomes available again via the website. Click through for the photographic proof!
