Legion Blurr is a fun little figure and makes for a fun desk toy. Transformation is simple but I like how it all comes together. The simple step of flipping the fin parts around impresses me for some reason. Definitely worth a pickup.
Hyperchange Soundwave is a really fun figure that most of us may have forgotten about! Transformation is simple but fun, with a strong spring bringing the torso together. If you're looking for a larger desk toy this is definitely it.
And all but out of nowhere, we've got official images of the Wave 3 Crash Combiners! This wave includes the Wildbreak and Dragstrip set that creates Dragbreak, Lunarforce Strongarm & Optimus Prime to create Primestrong, and lastly the recently discovered Shockdrive and Warnado who become Shocknado! Keep reading to see the images!
Thanks to Facebook user Todd Ferguson, we have a heads up that the long awaited PEZ Transformers that are now in stores will be getting some new, cooler products with these PEZ Connectibles Transformers RID accessory sets that add a torso and arms to the PEZ candy dispenser for more robot goodness. The images by way of an Ebay auction show Optimus Prime and Bumblebee characters will be in the initial release. No indication yet if we will see other PEZ Connectibles Transformers characters.
The character of Shocknado was revealed in the RID app a while back now,
but thanks to Autobase Aichi and Teng Juin Yan, we now know the figures that the Crash Combiner is made of. Shockdrive and Warnado are recolors of Skysledge and Stormhammer with new heads - keep reading to see more!
The reveals keep flowing from Amazon, today we have a look at the official images and details for the Soundwave & Laserbeak Activator class set from the Transformers Robots in Disguise Combiner Force line. Get a look at the figure in and out of the package with official product details.
Chuckdawg1999 is back at it again. Following off of Ultra Bee yesterday, he's back to show off the second of the team combiner sets in RID Combiner Force: Menasor. As Chuck puts it, Menasor is slightly more traditional with five team members, though there's only three distinct molds within the set. You can get a basic rundown of each toy and the combined form in the video - embedded below, of course - and see whether this set looks like something to bring in to your collection. Click through and have a look!
Next from the main Amazon site we've got an RID product photo set for the Combiner Force Activators Optimus Prime & Hi-Test. This joins most of the rest of the core Autobot cast at the Activator price point in woefully outnumbering the so far single Decepticon, Soundwave. These images don't demonstrate the Activator gimmick, but do show the Mini-Con Hi-Test connected to the vehicle mode as a turret. Keep reading to find all the photos below!
Today, our forums member chuckdawg1999 stopped in to share another new video with us, giving us one of our first in-hand looks at a team combiner set from RID Combiner Force - Ultra Bee! After some people lost enthusiasm toward the Crash Combiners upon seeing them, it'll be important to get a good look at find out how these team sets came out in execution. With two more after this, and these more or less being the "headliners" of this sub-branding, a lot might be riding on these guys! Click through to see the review.
Online retailer ToyWiz has posted preorder pages for a couple more Combiner Force One-Step figures! First seen at Australia Toy Fair earlier in the year, Strongarm is getting another new one-step figure, as is the Stunticon Heatseeker. Heatseeker is more or less the stand-in for Wildrider in Combiner Force Menasor - kind of neat that he's getting his own individual toy outside of the combiner packs. Keep reading to see the images!
Italian retail site Gamepeople has given us our first look in package at RID Combiner Force Dragstrip and Wildbreak in the Crash Combiners assortment. The "Dragbreak" paired form has been briefly seen first in the trailer for the new season of Robots in Disguise. With little or no sign of even the second wave of Crash Combiners at US retail so far, it's hard to say when this set might actually start seeing distribution for those interested in this part of the line. You can find the mirrored package photo below!
Toys R Us UK has got product pages up for the three known Robots in Disguise combiner team sets: Ultra Bee, Menasor, and Galvatronus. With them comes sets of product photography showing off samples of the figures. While we'd already seen the Stunticons' photos, this now lets us have a look at final or near-final versions of the other two combiners, as well as showing off the package fronts for all three. All three sets are out of stock for delivery, with no indication when they might come in, but with these stock photos surfacing, it can't be very long now. Click through to see them all in the gallery!
Time Warner Cable's online episode guide has been updated with two new episodes of Robots in Disguise. Combiner Force, which is either season 3 or 4, depending who you ask, already has had its first 7 episodes become generally available via on demand and official streaming, and today we've found out about the next two unreleased episodes, which focus one each on Drift, and Strongarm. No airdates are offered, but we have the summaries in the full post below. Keep reading!
If you've been holding off on buying RID Warrior Soundwave, this might be a spark of motivation for you. SwiftEagle has discovered that there's a running change happening on this toy which sees the head remolded. The photos provided show that the new version has a G1-style mask on the lower half of the face, instead of the Prime
-derived full visor face. Though not painted, the updated head sculpt does now better match the character art on the packaging. If the maskless style is more to your liking, it's probably time to pick up a Soundwave now! Keep reading for the pictures.

Swiss retail site Spielplanet has posted a new image showing the Menasor Combiner team set from Robots in Disguise. A grouped shot of all the figures, each in both of their individual modes, this is our first time seeing these as what are likely final production pieces. Motormaster is fairly obviously mistransformed in using the Menasor head in normal robot mode, but this does offer a decent look at the toys overall. We've mirrored the new image below - check it out!
