The Cartoon Network animated series comes to IDW! It's a typical day and a typical mission for Team Bee - except that somebody else seems to be interested in the Decepticon that Bumblebee and the others are after. Transformers: Robots In Disguise #1 is written by Georgia Ball with art by Priscilla Tramontano. Click through and read the review!

Newsarama also put up the preview for the first regular issue of the Robots in Disguise animated series-based comic book this afternoon. In what looks like a "between the episodes" approach, we'll have to see how the book does at putting together its story while respecting the TV version. Free Comic Book Day issues have started shipping ahead to comic book stores participating in the upcoming event. So it's little surprise that a leak might occur, and today we have a leaked image of the interior of the RID series comic, showing the final page and a shot of the cover to issue #1, promoting its subsequent release. Though dialogue is hard to make out, there are potential spoilers in this image, so proceed at your own risk in viewing the image!

Thanks to CBR we have some news and updates on the previously announced, the "Robots in Disguise" Free Comic Book Day issue to be written by IDW Transformers comics Senior Editor and John Barber, with art by Tramontano. We get some tips on what's in store along with some new looks at the issues #1 comic book covers. Late last year via Free Comic Book Day solicitations, we got news that a RID comic was coming - hence the renaming of the current book to The Transformers. Now we've got a preview of that comic from Issuu.com! The comic is written by John Barber with art by Priscilla Tramontano, and the book will be split with The Transformers vs. GI Joe, hence the credit for Tom Scioli on the cover.
