Youheidx on Youtube has posted a new video for TAV-50 Hyper Surge Optimus Prime. The TakaraTomy deco for what is just now hitting US retail as Powersurge Optimus Prime in Robots in Disguise is the large, electronic figure built for this year's version of the Mini-Con play pattern. The quick stop motion mostly focuses on a transformation sequence, but gives an overview of both modes, all packaged with sound effects and other toy cameos. The video is embedded below, so come and have a look!
In his neverending quest to promote new TakaraTomy products, Hisashi Yuki has posted a new image of TAV52 Strongarm to Twitter! This is the equivalent of the Mini-Con Battle Pack Strongarm that comes with Cyclone-type Mini-Con Sawtooth, and is shown here next to Transformers Prime First Edition Bulkhead. They scale pretty nicely! Keep reading to have a closer look.
Dengeki Hobby has posted a few new images from the Transformers Adventure line! TAV-53 Hypersurge Sideswipe and TAV-54 Scorponok are the next up, both due in late August. Sideswipe is a large electronic version with a weapon Mini-Con to attach to the chest when not being used as a sword. Meanwhile Scorponok may be out first look at TakaraTomy's version in color, showing a much enhanced deco versus the Hasbro Robots in Disguise version seen recently from retail release of southeast Asia. Alfes2010 has come through and provided lots of nice pictures showing off the just-released Hypersurge Optimus Prime toy from Transformers Adventure. Unlike the previous large Adventure Optimus, this mold is being shared in both TakaraTomy and Hasbro markets, albeit with different decos. But all the features remain the same, and this assortment of photos gives a good look at them. We've mirrored the numerous photos Alfes has tweeted today, so click through and take a look!
Thanks to our good friends at Autobase Aichi we have another round-up of images from the Tokyo Toy Show 2016 that was going on in Tokyo, Japan this weekend.
The new images offer us some looks at the new Transformers Adventure products coming from Takara Tomy with views on the TAV-50 Hyper Surge Optimus Prime, TAV-51 Hyper Surge Bumblebee, TAV-47 CrazyBolt, displays with the many more including the many Micron figures, as well as looks at the Versus sets, MetaColle Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, and more display shots.
Autobase Aichi has posted images and Amazon Japan links to the Transformers Adventure releases for July! Expected on 7/23 in Japan are Hypersurge Bumblebee and Strongarm with Sawtooth! While Strongarm is from the Mini-Con 2-pack line, Hypersurge Bumblebee is the TakaraTomy release of Power Surge Bumblebee complete with Mini-Con "Breastforce" breastplate gimmick. Autobase Aichi's Facebook page has been updated to feature a series of photos of the Hero-X (formerly Million Publishing) Generations book mailaway set of Runamuck vs Dogfight. Branded as Transformers Adventure like the other Legends size class figures before them, these are recolors of Blackjack and the Viper retool of Powerglide.
Runamuck completes the pair started with general retail Runabout, while Digfight joins Override in representing the Triggerbot subgroup. We have the photos mirrored, so click through to take a look!
In a few days, the TakaraTomy release of Robots In Disguise Deployers Crazybolt will be released in Japan! But Hisashi Yuki has posted that this one gave them some trouble. The translation offered by Twitter is a bit rough, but apparently coming up with a color plan that was accurate to the TV version was a challenge. I have to admit though, it looks good! Keep reading for the photo and the tweet.
Thanks to Autobase Aichi, we know ToysRUs Japan is continuing its Mini-Con giveaway campaign! If you spend 3,000 Yen at a Japanese TRU anytime soon you will get Rain, a translucent blue Arms Micron recolored from the Mini-Con partner included in the Japanese release of Transformers Prime Cliffjumper. Keep reading to see some photos!

TakaraTomy has posted new photos of Hypersurge Optimus Prime! TAV50 is a less Machine Wars-inspired take on the Power Surge Optimus Prime mold due out in the US later this year, but still sports the wings and his armor/Mini-Con partner. The Japanese version is due out June 25th for 8,650 Yen. Keep reading to have a look!
Autobase Aichi has shared via Twitter a picture of a special Arms Micron being given away at Toys R Us in Japan right now to promote Transformers Adventure. If we're reading the sign correctly, the Micron is called "Burn", and is a clear red redeco of S2, the Arms Micron that came with Prime
Smokescreen originally. The distribution is currently underway, evidently limited to 6000 units, and given away to anyone who buys at least 3000 Yen worth of Transformers products. Click through for a photo of the Micron in packaging!
Hisashi Yuki has shared some interesting pictures in the last 24 hours! The first two show off the Transformers Adventure versions of some existing Robots In Disguise toys... but then things get even more interesting, as he shows off that the Cyclone Mini-Cons are compatible with Wandering Roller of Unite Warriors UW-06 Grand Galvatron fame! Keep reading for more details and photos!

ToysRUs and TakaraTomy sure do love their giveaways. Courtesy of Autobase Aichi, we now know that the latest subject is a recolor of Prime Arms Micron AM-26 Smokescreen's crossbow Mini-Con, S.2. You'll be able to get the figure if you spend 3,000 Yen and up at a Japanese ToysRUs... well, we can't tell quite when, but it seems like it's timed to coincide with the release of the TAV-40 and TAV-41 Mini-Con Battle Packs, as shown in the ad. Keep reading to see!
