Onyx's treacherous companion forces Soundwave to finally make a choice: is Optimus Prime a friend... or foe?

As of writing, the brief voting period in the 2018 Transformers fan vote event is nearly over with. While we await the results of the choice of one of three Deluxe VS sets to be released next year (from which Impactor vs Mirage appeared to be taking a lead at one point), Hasbro has released via Facebook a post clearing up some small details, such as the incorrect identification of Impactor as a Decepticon in the sample art. For the most part it doesn't offer much, but one of the answers actually does give us something to work from. Keep reading to find out what!

Nick Roche, writer and artist of Last Stand of the Wreckers and Sins of the Wreckers, has announced that he will be finishing his Wreckers story in a one-shot to be titled Requiem of the Wreckers! Reuniting with colorist Josh Burcham, Roche has also announced that fellow Transformers artists Guido Guidi and Geoff Senior will also be contributing to the book! Keep reading to see the teaser image and announcement.

The official Transformers pages on Facebook and Instragam have posted a video announcing the new Fan Vote for 2018! Using the hashtags in this article's title on either of those sites and those sites only, you can vote for one of three two-packs to come in 2019's first chapter in the War For Cybertron trilogy: Spinister vs. Wheeljack, Impactor vs. Mirage, or Needlenose vs. Tracks! Keep reading to see the video.

Hasbro's people said during Toy Fair they have exclusives planned for Generations for this year, though they didn't reveal any specifics. Blast Off and Repugnus had both been discovered via leaked materials and distributor information, but it looks like at least one more figure may be joining their Special Edition ranks this year. Amazon.ca has a listing page for Deluxe Counterpunch, and while the currently attached price and some of the product info are a bit wacky, the associated product code makes sense compared to Repugnus and Blast Off. So what could we be looking at? Keep reading for another round of speculation!

We're capping this year's Toy Fair 2018 with the official images Power of the Primes Transformers action figures shown at this years show. Get the full sized view of the stock product images for the Legends,Prime Masters, Deluxes, Voyagers and Leader class figures in our handy to view gallery after the jump.

During Toy Fair this year, the Hasbro team gave the invited fan media representatives a special treat, in the first reveal of what the next instance of Transformers Generations would be. Power of The Primes is wrapping up in 2018, and with it comes the conclusion to what Hasbro referred to as the Prime Wars Trilogy. Part of the meaning of this is that 2019 will be the beginning of something completely new, a point they made very clear despite having few real details they could share. But something about the way they talked about it concerned me and got me thinking. The following is a speculative post, so if you'd like to join me on a journey of theorizing the future, please click through and continue reading!

The thing about rampant speculation is that if you open your mouth, you will almost certainly not always be right. But RAC has embraced that, and today he comes back to look over his own pre-Toy Fair predictions and see what happened and what didn't, and how close he got. There's only one category where he can claim 100% accuracy... keep reading to see what it is!

The Transformers Facebook has also provided promotional images of most of the rest of Power of the Primes! Titan Class Predaking and Optimal Optimus are the real stars here, with Wave 4's sole new Deluxe Novastar also making an appearance. Keep reading to see the images!

Just on from Toys Fair we have the new poster for Machinema's Transformers Power of the Primes!

Coming to us from the Radio Free Cybertron Twitter, with photography by Diecast, we have our first looks from inside the showroom at Hasbro's Toy Fair exhibit. First up we have Generations, featuring the likes of Power of The Primes Titan Predaking, plus the fan vote winner Optimus Primal both revealed in full and in color for the first time. Plus we get to see Abominus fully formed, and a look at Novastar, the Firestar retool of Moonracer, bound for Deluxe wave 4. Find all the photos below, and keep checking back for more showroom updates!

The usual leaker has posted an image of a model sheet for Grimlock that matches the Cyberverse design, except with a significantly higher level of detail and a slightly differently stylized dino mode. Is this the Cyberverse design, or part of the possible "Evergreen" styled reboot of Generations, or something else? Either way, keep reading to see the design and stay tuned for our Toy Fair 2018 coverage as Hasbro makes its presentation within the hour!

Remember Mighty Muggs? One of Hasbro's attempts to get in on the lucrative vinyl minifigures market, Mighty Muggs was moderately successful about 10 years ago and then more or less disappeared with the exception of the occasional show-exclusive. But in the intervening years Funko conquered the world with PoP! vinyls, so Hasbro's going to try once again for a piece of that pie. Keep reading for the reveal of the new, improved Mighty Muggs courtesy of Screeen Rant!
