An Amazon.com listing for the Transformers Generation 1 - The Complete First Season - 25th Anniversary Edition DVD box set has revealed new bonus features. The box set will come packaged with a printable script to the episode "Transport to Oblivion," rare PSAs, and a limited edition Autobot magnet. Read more.

Shout! Factory has released the list of bonus features that will be included with the June 16th release of Transformers Generation 1 - The Complete First Season - 25th Anniversary Edition DVD set. So far, there are three listed on the company's official website. These include "A Look Back at Hasbro and the Origins of The Transformers," which seems to be some sort of documentary. Joining this will be concept art and original Hasbro toy commercials, which are surely going to please the fans.

Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for the Transformers Generation 1 - The Complete First Season - 25th Anniversary Edition DVD set and with that, revealed an updated look to the box art. The box set now reads "The Complete First Season" on the bottom and features the ubiquitous 25th Anniversary logo on the bottom right hand side of the box.

TFormers sponsor BigBadToyStore has cast some new light on the Transformers Generation 1 - The Complete First Season - 25th Anniversary Edition DVD set that we first reported on earlier this week. The set will be released by Visual Entertainment, which is contrary to Wal-Mart's listing of UMVD. The set will take up three discs and it is unkown whether or not we will get any bonus features. The set is slated for a June 16, 2009 U.S. release and is currently pre-orderable at BigBadToyStore.com now for $29.99

For those of you waiting for the Generation 1 cartoons to return, this could be your day. WalMart.com has posted a product listing for the "DVD: Transformers: The Complete First Season - 25th Anniversary Edition: More Than Meets The Eye, The (Full Frame)" DVD set on their web site.
