A user on ACToys has produced photos of a final sample of Tarantulas from the third iteration of the Collectors Club's subscription service offerings. The recolor of the Generations Junkion mold can be seen in robot and vehicle mode, though the Arms Microns it's planned to include are not seen in these photos. It remains to be seen if this use of the mold will share the problem of the previous ones where the hands can be damaged by holding its axe accessory. Click through to view both pictures!
Over the weekend we brought you an early analysis of a screenshot from an episode of Cybercast featuring an interview with Pete Sinclair of Fun Publications where several toys could be seen that may be Botcon exclusives for this year. Since then we've continued analyzing the image and have made some updates and corrections to our original conclusions, and one may suggest a surprising move for convention exclusive toys - or we might be seeing another surprise entirely. If you're interested in toy spoilers in advance of official reveals, keep reading...
Can we get the entirety of Figure Subscription Service 3 revealed before the end of the day? We're making good progress toward that as Photobucket user "Xamot" has posted two new images of Krok, a retool of IDW stealth bomber Megatron, complete with Gatoraider Arms Micron partner. The same user also put up a photo of a few bagged samples of Carzap leading to speculation these may be the first two pieces in TFSS 3. Of course, Fun Publications could choose to shuffle the order now to maintain surprise. Click through for the photos!
Pete Sinclair of Fun Publications was recently interviewed over video, and in the process seems to have let a bit too much fall in frame. Based on an enhanced screencap by well known fan Monzo, we've identified and highlighted the toys that are visible. The image is low-res, but with some work defining the edges the forms of the figures can be made out well enough. Of course this is likely a spoiler for some of this year's convention toys, so please keep that in mind before proceeding. For full info, keep reading!
FunPub has sent out a small holiday greeting today in the form of our first looks at production sample pieces of two figures from the third Transformers Figure Subscription Service. Absurdly obscure character Carzap from the IDW Bumblebee mold, Krok from stealth bomber Megatron, and Krok's pet Gatoraider from one of the many Arms Micron molds. Krok and Carzap both feature new heads which we're also getting our first real look at. Click through and check out the whole set of images!
As RID 2015 begins to hit both in the US and Ireland, Blacklai has posted images of the entire first wave of Warrior Class figures! Bumblebee, presumably the leader of the Autobots at the beginning of RID, comes with a pretty nice sword. While the Warrior class is at a lower pricepoint than next years' Combiner Wars Generations figures, Bumblebee compares favorably in size to Arms Micron Ironhide- itself a recolor of Prime's Deluxe Kup. Hisahi Yuki is back giving teases of upcoming toys. For this weekend, he's got a vehicle mode shot of the Japanese version of Generations Chromia. The heavy retool of Transformers Prime
Arcee is seen here with the Japanese-exclusive Arms Micron edition of TF: Prime
Ironhide as a stand-in for G1, surely as a reference to the relationship implied in the G1 cartoon. We can definitely expect more photos of the female warrior trio that's planned for sale in February, so keep watching for that. Meanwhile click through and check out the full size image!
In the interview Rik announced their upcoming Play With This Toosday campaign, where they will reveal a new figure design every Tuesday. This Tuesday an announcement is coming of a figure that might be interesting to He-Man collectors as well as Transformers fans. The figure idea was by Trent Troop and drawn by Aaron Archer.
Book your flights now! November 29th and 30th is the "Transformers Carnival" event at Japanese ToysRUs stores. While that sounds like it could be really neat, the reality is that spending 3000 Yen at one of those stores on one of those days will net you one of six reissues of previous promotional figures. In other words, Takara has partnered with TRU Japan to be rid of unclaimed promo stock. Keep reading for all the details!
Following a tease in the hobby magazine earlier this week, TakaraTomy has revealed full details on Micron Carnivac. Recolored (yet again) from one of the Transformers: Cybertron Mini-Cons, Carnivac would likely be intended as a stand in for Lockdown's wolf-like cyborgs that menaced the human props in Age of Extinction. The Micron will be available at Toys R Us locations in Japan with the purchase of 3000 Yen or more worth of Transformers products during the campaign period. Keep reading to check out the up close image!

As we predicted last night, the fifth TFSS 2 shipment contained Chromedome with Stylor Arms Micron, and as usual Radio Free Cybertron's John DeLuna has brought us our first look at the figures in hand today via a flood of shots posted to his Twitter timeline. As usual, we've also transcribed the text of the bio card included, so keep reading for that and to see all the pictures!
Amid a great outcry of inappropriate mold choice and deco that failed to defeat the body shape to evoke the intended character, the Collector's Club has posted a revised boxart piece for Subscription Service 3 Tarantulas. Having increased the intended paint operations, including added detail to the face, they're hoping to satisfy as much fan concern as possible with this figure. Still missing are the stripe details on the legs of the included Arms Microns, another loudly referenced negative change from the initial Botcon reveal. Keep reading to compare the new and yesterday's versions!
(Figure King) magazine has revealed that 3,000 Yen (About $30) worth of Age of Extinction toys will net you a special Astrotrain-themed Micron at Japanese ToysRUs stores this August. The clear purple plastic Mini-Con uses the same mold as Payload, the space shuttle partner of Generations Legends Cosmos. Keep reading to see the scan!
