SDCC is over, but we're still posting news and updates from the show. We've got some video coverage of the Transformers Prime panel that was held this year. The big reveal was was actually a non-reveal with a mysterious character that is coming soon to the show. The rest of the panel featured all the players from the Transformers Prime time including Mike Vogel, Roberto Orci, Therese Trujillo, Jeff Kline, David Hartman, Duane Capizzi, Jose Lopez, and Vinton Heuck that you can watch after the jump.




We have confirmation from Hasbro their 2011 San Diego Comic Con exclusives will be going for sale online at their website HasbroToyShop.com tomorrow morning (7/26). They unfortunately didn't have an exact time in which they will go up for sale so you will probably just want to start checking when you wake up and then keep checking periodically as the day goes on. Entering the code COMIC2011 should also get you 10% off your order. If we get any kind of confirmed details on the times we will be sure to update you here and when we see them go on sale we will also post here for you.




Just in from SDCC 2011 is an update at the Hasbro Transformers display. We have some first looks at the Human Alliance Soundwave and Laserbeak with Mr Gould and the Voyager Cannon Force Ironihde figures. Check out the new looks at both of these new Transformers Dark of the Moon toys after the jump.




SDCC Transformers news winds down with the Evolution of Transformers Animation Panel. hosted by Hasbro and Shout! Factory. Not a lot of news or reveals on the news front, but we do get overview of the cartoons from the USA and Japan with details on how these toons have been translated for news release. Jeff Kline revealed in an interview with us at BotCon 2011 that everything alluded to in Transformers Prime will be fulfilled. And he was not lying! We have posted a clip that previews what is to come in the second season of the three planned seasons of Transformers Prime, and in this season, the Autobots team with an unexpected ally to battle a legendary threat to Earth's existence. The video simply teases, "He is Coming..." while the figure himself says, "I awaken." Who do you think it is? Let us know in the comments! Follow the break for the video.

More news just in from SDCC 2011 with some first looks at the new Transformers Prime actions figures. Hasbro put out some new products including Voyager Bulkhead, Voyager Optimus Prime, deluxe Cliffjumper (pre-zombie) and the deluxe Vehicon drone. Also shown is the Entertainment Pack with deluxe Prime and Megatron and the kids. All of these figures are out in December 2011, except the Entertainment Pack, which is set for October 2011. We just got out of the IDW Hasbro 2012 Transformations Panel at SDCC 2011. There is much more news than meets the eye for Transformers Comics. Get the scoop on what coming next year from IDW with highlights including Transformers #125 with the Death of Optimus Prime! There's also news about bi-weekly comics and a big surprise of Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman returning for Transformers #81! More news just in from SDCC 2011, ENI sister site JediInsider has posted news and images of the Transformers Star Wars action figures that Hasbro will be re-releasing in scaled down version. The new figures appear to be roughly scout class size and will retail for $7.99 USD. First wave is out this month with more coming in October. Check out the images now at JediInsider.com.




News just in by way of IGN, we have our first looks at the newest action figures in the Transformers Prime series. New images show the voyager class Optimus Prime, voyager class Blukhead, deluxe class wave 3 figures Zombie Cliffjumper and the deluxe class Vehicon (drone). A non-zombie Cliffjumper will be out in Wave 2. The images are pre-production mock-ups showing the robot and vehicle modes. We're posting news live from San Diego Comic-Com 2011 with images just posted of the Masterpiece USA Edition Rodimus Prime and Targetmaster Offshoot that will be a Toys R' Exclusive. The figure is on show with the Targetmaster mounted on the hood. Check out the images after the jump,




It is a little unbelievable, but San Diego Comic-Con International 2011 starts tomorrow! Our staff is en route today in time for the preview night tonight at the San Diego Convention Center, but one of the main questions we have is, "what will we see this weekend?" Thankfully, Transformers related things will be front-loaded, with IDW Publishing, Hasbro, and Hasbro Studios panels on Thursday, so we will not have to wait long. Let's take a look at what to expect here, so hit the jump!




Hasbro has unleashed their press release to mark their appearance at San Diego Comic-Con 2011, revealing the panel schedules, all of the prices for the exclusives, and shows that they are putting a lot of force behind their KRE-O building-block line. The Transformers exclusives are G.I. JOE Sky Striker Vehicle w/ Starscream Deco and 3.75" Cobra Commander Special Edition Figure ($49.99), Transformers: Dark Of the Moon Special Edition Ultimate Optimus Prime ($79.99), and Transformers Prime Optimus Prime First Edition Figure ($19.99).
