Toy Fair 2012 -

There has been some mass confusion regarding the different color schemes of the Combaticon combiner Bruticus, which is from the Transformers Fall of Cybertron and will be released in Fall 2012. This information was announced during the busy fervor that was Toy Fair 2012 (be sure to check out all non-Transformers news on ToyNewsI.com), and we actually did not notice we were handed two different sets of "official" images. So what is going on here? Hop in and we will try our best to clear it up for you.

There's been rumors swirling that the rest of the Transformers Dark of the Moon action figures series announced for 2012 at San Diego Comic Con and New York Comic Con could be cancelled in the USA. We were able to confirm at Toy Fair, after seeing only Movie Trilogy Series Optimus Prime w/ Trailer on display, that the remaining Movie Trilogy Series figures will only be available in Asia and Canada. During their Toy Fair 2012 Media Event, Hasbro announced that 2013 would be the year of Transformers Generations. With 40 figures that are planned for release next year, the company will be releasing a lot of these deluxe-sized figures. "Bombard" is the choice word used by Joshua Lamb, Hasbro's brand director of design. Unfortunately, there was nothing to show, nor any hints to what characters will be available. But with Transformers Fall of Cybertron slated to revive the line this year in the fall, consumers will be hungry for more.

At Hasbro's Toy Fair 2012 Media Event, we were showcased the upcoming Remote Controlled Bumblebee that will be coming out in the Transformers Prime line in Fall of this year. With three channels, fans can battle their friends as their favorite characters go head-to-head in battle. Watch the video demonstration in the full article and check out the showroom display.

During our visit to the Transformers portion of the Hasbro showroom at the company's Toy Fair 2012 Media Event, we were provided a demonstration of how the gimmick of the Transformers Prime Weaponizers figures will operate. Unfortunately, the Optimus Prime was very much in showcase-only mode, so we could not get a demonstration of that figure, so the Bumblebee will have to do until next time. These leader-class-sized figures will have similar weapons functions in the robot and vehicle modes. Enjoy the video in the full article and be sure to check out the official and showroom images.
