Following the lead of the Deluxes, Power of The Primes Legends Class figures have begun appearing at Targets in the US, and I was lucky enough to be near a location with stock on hand! So this evening we've got a video review for the brand new Windcharger ready for you to have a look at. It's a pretty good toy whose worst problem seems to be a bad deco choice on the head - any other issues don't stand out nearly as much. Click here to go to the review!
Following the Wave 1 deluxe figures, Transformers Power of the Primes legends class figures are hitting in SOCAL. Get a look at this images of of the Power of the Prime Legends Windcharger with comparison to Reveal the Shield Scout Windcharger and death scene from Movie.
From retailer Forbidden Planet, we have a first look at several pieces of retail stock photography for the first wave of Power of The Primes. Excluding the Prime Master class for the time being, we have everything from Legends and up, including Windcharger, Beachcomber, Jazz, Dreadwind, our first two Dinobots, plus the Voyagers and Leaders whose photos we saw before, but now at a larger clearer resolution. Forbidden Planet lists a ship date from their suppliers as January 7th, which may give some insight toward general availability. Autobase Aichi has posted more stock photo assets from the first wave of Power of The Primes, now giving us in package shots of the first Legends assortment with Beachcomber, Dinobot Slash, and Windcharger, plus the remaining photography for Leader class Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime. Of note, this includes the individual Hot Rod vehicle form, which has not been played up very much since the reveal of the toy. You can find all these new images mirrored below!
Another leak has come out from the usual Weibo source, and it's a pretty substantial one. It's primarily made of art assets for Power of the Primes
packaging and instructions, so - while small - they represent the best looks we've yet gotten at largely unseen figures such as Voyager Elita-1, Deluxe Moonracer, and more. Transformers At The Moon has another collection of never before heard deleted audio content from the G1 cartoon. "Roll For It" is the next entry, coming in at about 8 minutes of material. No fully new scenes are contained, but there's a fair bit of expansion present, a small portion of which with audio issues, which are speculated as being a possible reason for those lines being cut. Today on Weibo, X-Transbots has shared new photos of their Master Mini series of figures. Now in production are Boost, based on Windcharger, and Hatch, based on Tailgate. These are part of X-Transbots' Masterpiece-compatible line, and each features an option part or two to help the figures reflect either media appearances or be a little more toy-oriented.
