Tformers reported live from the Hasbro brand panel at SDCC 2012 where the company offered up the latest product from Transformers Prime, KRE-O, Generations, and more! There were some disappointments, like Breakdown not being mentioned for potential release, but also some surprises, like Transformers Prime First Edition toys would make it to Toys R Us shelves in November and there will indeed be a Transformers Generations Voyager Grimlock! Hop into the full article for a full recap and images!
We have just stepped out of the IDW Publishing panel here at San Diego Comic Con 2012, and we have some great news for you! Not only will IDW be offering a comic to lead into the third season of Transformers Prime titled Rage of the Dinobots, but they have also announced an online-only comic book that will serve as the prequel to Transformers Fall of Cybertron video game. Learn about these books and much more in our panel report!
__scaled_100.jpg) The Tformers gang is live at San Diego Comic Con 2012 and we were lucky enough to pick up this little gem: the Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Bruticus! The set is an SDCC 2012 exclusive and features coloring of the figures that are accurate to the representation within the Transformers Fall of Cybertron game ( read our impressions of the game) due August 21, 2012. We have a boatload of images for you to take a look at the unique packaging as well as all of the figures in their robot, vehicle, and combined forms.
__scaled_100.jpg) We round out our coverage of the Hasbro preview night display case with additional images of the Transformers Masterpiece Optimus Prime, which still does not have a release date, and is based off of the Transformers Masterpiece MP-10 Convoy mold; we also have looks at Bot Shots; Rescue Bots; and the Universal Studios exclusives including Deluxe Evac. Take a look in the gallery.
__scaled_100.jpg) The second part of our walkaround of the Hasbro display area includes the Transformers Prime toyline. Not really any surprises here unless you count Thundertron, which makes its debut in October 2012 for $19.99. Unfortunately Ultra Magnus and Skyquake have not been sited, but be sure to check out the entire display in our gallery.
IDW Publishing will not only be on hand to present their latest books at their panel on Thursday morning at 10:00am local time, but they will be signing stuff for their fans at booth #2643 as well. We have the entire listing after the jump (with the Transformers ones bolded for your convenience).
