Earlier tonight we shared with you some photos of an apparently early-release copy of Rodimus Unicronus, the new addition to Power of The Primes Leader class wave 2. But there's a bit of a discrepancy with it, as highlighted for us on Twitter by Barricade64. The official images we've seen of the toy since it was revealed have featured aspects of its deco and the slight remolding of the Rodimus Prime head that point to an intentional nod at the Shattered Glass continuity that was a recurring staple of Fun Publications' time producing licensed material for the brand. It seems that isn't quite so much the case anymore. Keep reading!

If the stock version of Grimlock, and by extension the torso mode of the Dinobot combiner Volcanicus aren't really doing it for you, Perfect Effect is again presenting an after market option to try to address that. PC-23 goes beyond PC-21's replacement hands and feet, giving new combiner body add-ons that will let the combined mode form in a slightly different way, as well as adding a huge sword that breaks down to be individual melee weapons for each Dinobot. And to top it off, it also includes replacement thigh and forearm pieces for Grimlock, making the robot taller - and probably facilitating some of the torso mode alterations. The kit is due in April. Amazon Japan has posted stock photos for the majority of the June and July assortments of TakaraTomy's Power of The Primes releases. Firstly, this crushes a lot of last-gasp hopes from the fan community as we find that the Dinobots aren't being redirected to a revived Unite Warriors (instead being the majority of June's individual releases), and no Masterforce-based redeco of Darkwing and Dreadwind is forthcoming. We do get really good looks at a lot of what we're getting as wave 2, including our best look yet at the Alchemist Prime/Submarauder Prime Master. We've mirrored all the images below, click through to have a look!

Thanks to Justin geier who gave us the heads up on the in-hand images posted on Ebay of the Rodimus Unicronus In-Hand Images Power of The Primes Leader Class figure. This first wave of figures is barely out and we're already seeing the repaint hitting the shelves in Wichita, Kansas? Read on to see the in-hand images of Rodimus Unicronus below.

Women Write About Comics have posted an interview with writer Magdalene Visaggio, who's been gone through a crash course on how to handle these Giant Friggin Robots! The Visionaries story takes place with them hiding deep within Cybertron after fleeing from their planet, Prysmos. The story has won some and lost some heroes, which Magdalene gives her take on why they are on Cybertron and the death of Kup. Read on for more.

It's been a contentious issue over the last couple of Prime Wars installments, and it's only getting more intense. We can see the appeal of stickers to solve budgetary problems, but we can also see the stickers peel - often before we've even bought the toy! In this editorial, RAC goes over the hows and whys of stickers and cites the remarkable consensus growing in a consensus-resistant collector community: Hasbro, Please Stop. Click through for thoughts on this sticky situation.

Site sponsor Robotkingdom has put up their preorder of Movie Masterpiece Ironhide, complete with new photos! On top of which, we now have a release date of July 1st for the impressive figure. Keep reading for the images, mirrored here for convenience!

While still what we would consider early in its life cycle, it seems that a running change has already been carried out on the latest member of the generations Starscream family. Jason Rye reported this finding to us, which involves an alteration to how Starscream's wings/backpack connect to the body. The design tweak is said to improve how the jet mode comes together, and may have other benefits as well. You can see a side by side comparison of the two versions of Starscream, find out more detail, as well as get one of the batch codes identified as being associated with this running change below. Twitter user @GanguStars has posted an image showing two of the shelf-warmingest Titans Return Deluxes - Scourge and Chromedome - marked down to $7! In the case of Scourge this is particularly great news since you can now build the Sweep army of your dreams. As for Chromedome... time to double-check for that running error with the TakaraTomy face again! Keep reading for photographic proof.

Unicron.com reports that MPM-3 Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee has been spotted on clearance at a Maple Grove, Minnesota ToysRUs store for $69.90! Still a significant chunk of change, but an improvement to be sure. TRU clearance is sometimes variable, but it still may be worth checking out your local branch. Keep reading for details!

Almost a month to the day that Amazon posted listings for the 4.5" three-step Authentics figures, Hasbro has posted official photos and product listings for the 7 inch line on their website! Optimus and Bumblebee look extremely similar to the smaller figures but with extra joints, and here we have the Grimlock that was leaked a while back. Keep reading to see!

After a lot of crazy things happening all in a relatively short span of time, it seems like life is finally starting to settle down, with efforts to smooth tensions between Cybertron and Earth being foremost in Optimus Prime's mind. I'm sure nothing could possibly turn up to get in the way of that! "The Falling, Chapter 1: Surfeit of Primes" written by John Barber, art by Kei Zama, colors by Josh Burcham.
