Thanks to FMH forum member Aesir who has posted news from Hasbro themselves that the official UK street date for Transformers Prime Beast Hunters action figures will be June 1, 2013. That is great news for all the Transformers fans who have been watching and waiting for these new toys.
Thanks to HobbyArk Store we have new details from Takara-Tomy on the Transformers Go! line that will offer the Beast Hunters toys to fans in japan. The new listings reveal the names and details for G-05 Gekiso-maru 5,500 JPY / $56 USD set that will be a Japan exclusive, G-06 Hunter Smokescreen 2,500 JPY / $26 USD and G-07 Bakudora 2,500 JPY / $26 USD that is believed to be Predacon repaint with new head. There are no images yet, but we will post more details soon as they are released.
Yea, you read the title right. Is it any wonder WHY Hasbro's sales are tanking? They seem to only care about keeping Wall Street engaged with such patronizing double speak in a press release of all things. Sorry to use this PR as a place to scurtinize them, but I hope someone at HQ reads this and puts the fun back into Trasnformers one day. Hasbro is faltering and Beast Hunters has clearly become a scramble to justify why their "Franchise" isn't getting love from shoppers. He has been nice enough to share the translated quotes that the stage says in the Japanese Optimus Prime voice. New retailer exclusive Tomica die-cast cars are coming to what we believe are long running "Tomica Toys Dream" series. All we know right now is the series that will include Transformers exclusives Bumblebee as No.142 and Optimus Prime as No.147 have have been listed online for pre-orders. These are most likely specially (re)painted die-cast vehicles like we have seen previously from Tomica

A new Takara Tomy Campaign callted "Shining RA" has been revealed on the official Transformers Japan web site. Based on the R.A. Arms Micron figures that were included in the AM-04 Ratchet set. The microns that combine to form the Rainbow Shield are being offered in clear plastic colors purple, yellow, red, and green. Beginning September 29th, Fans in Japan will need to shop at participating retail shops that carry the Transformers Prime Arms Micron figures. Thanks to Snakas who has shared some exciting news. Takara Tomy listed new pre-orders for Transformers Prime Arms Micron class action figures AM-18 Arachnid and AM-17 Swerve that are slated for release in August 2012. The Airachnid deluxe class figure was reported last month
. However, news of a Swerve voyager class figure is something totally new.
Don't go rushing out to buy those Transformers Prime action figures just yet. Thanks to images posted over at German Transformers fansite NTF-Archive we have a pretty interesting reveal that Transformers Prime will have some new goodies coming our way that are more than meets the eye with a special light-up flowing Energon feature that looks a lot like the old Energon weapons. Takara Tomy have updated their official Transformers sithe with announcement for a new retailer incentive campaign called "Arm Micron." The incentives will be focused on the Transformers Prime cartoon and action figure series that will be coming to Japan. Much like previous campaigns, Takara Tomy have coordinated with various retailers around Japan offer the "Arm Micron" figures as free gifts to those who shop for Transformers products.
When we just got out of the BotCon 2011 Hasbro Brand Team panel, we were treated to our first look at the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Transformers Prime
Matrix of Leadership Optimus Prime. The display includes the packaging, complete with a neck strap. The premium box is also on display. Take a look at the shots after the break!
Live at BotCon 2011, we were able to visit the rather bare Transformers Prime
toy display. The shelves were predominantly empty with Bumblee and Arcee in- and out-of-package. We also get looks at Starscream, but zero packaging in sight. Hopefully throughout the next couple of days, we will get some good news on upcoming Transformers Prime
