Hasbro Pulse's Instagram account has an interesting little feature today, an image depicting a process they call "pretengineering" or "pretend engineering." This seems to be their catchphrase for the very early parts of developing new Transformers, before going to prototyping, where things like the movable parts, gimmicks, and special design details are all plotted out in lineart to explore the form the designers would like the toy to take as it moves in to the physical design stage. The subject model here seems to be an early iteration of the Cyberverse line's Megatron, which really goes to show how far the development cycle can go from initial idea to realized toy. UK Toy distributor NDA Toys has posted stock images for the Transformers: Cyberverse Ultimate Class figures, Optimus Prime and Megatron! Listed under their Seinfeld-themed internal development codenames of "Peterman" and "Newman," respectively, this is the best look we've gotten at the $30 pricepoint figures so far. Both look good, though articulation-sticklers may not be thrilled that Megatron seems to lack elbows. Keep reading for the images!

Its that time of year again, when McDonald's rolls out another batch of Transformers Happy Meal Toys. The sighting by way of MLP Merch, offers up a reveal from Russia of all places. The toys that will riding along side Cutie Mark Crew Themed My Little Pony toys will be PVC super-deformed Transformers robot figures! A nice change from the gimmicky toys of the past.

This is a basic, budget Transformer. It's still fun though. Check it out with me.

NDA Toys has disclosed new official packaged images of Cyberverse Action Attacker Ultra and Ultimate-class figures! In the Ultra class we've got Bumblebee, Starscream, and Grimlock and Optimus Prime & Megatron for the Ultimate class. As the on-site name for each class indicates, the SRP for Ultras is $20 and Ultimates are $30. Keep reading to see the images and read the official description of each class!

Lianne Marie Dobbs kicks off the voice over reveals for Transformers Cyberverse! The new cartoon slated to take over from Robots in Disguise is appearently rolling out with with production plans as Lianne gives up the reveal on Instagram with a shot from her recording session. European distributor of party supplies Amscan has posted a listing with photo of a new foil party balloon the company is offering: "Evergreen" styled Bumblebee! The balloon measures 34"/86cm wide by 47"/1.19m tall and is sold wholesale from the distributor in packs of 5. Keep reading to see the photo!

In piece of good news, the TFWiki has clarified that the Legion-esque Cyberverse Scout-class figures do in fact have full alt-modes! As the promotional images only showed them in their Gerwalk-reminiscent "Action Attacker" configurations, it had been speculated that they would not fully transform. Luckily, that's not the case. The official Facebook page has posted their own reveal of the new Transformers Cyberverse toys. The new images are more formally presented composites of the images we saw previously along with reveals for Warrior Class Bumblebee, Warrior Class Optimus Prime, and Ultra Class Starscream. Additionally, we have look at the Grimlock, Starscream, and Megatron scout class toys. Hasbro have paired up shots of both the characters' molds along with their name, class and fancy background for more zing! Just before the start of Toy Fair, Gizmodo has the first official reveal of the toyline for the upcoming Transformers Cyberverse series. Broken down across Scout, Warrior, and Ultimate Classes at suggested price points from $8 to $30, we've got core characters from G1 represented in updated forms including of course Optimus, Bumblebee, Starscream, Megatron, as well as Shockwave and Grimlock. Each class has different special play features, and all are supposed to be designed with simple transformations. Click through to see the pictures now!

The TFWiki has posted a set of scans of Transformers Valentines to their Twitter account! Sporting eight lenticular designs which appear to be entirely made of permutations of the obscure quartet Optimus Prime, Starscream, Megatron, and Bumblebee, these Valentines for grade-school children are rendered using stock art for the new "Evergreen" designs which we theorize will be taking over the brand in the fall.
