Transformers Fans in the UK will have chance to pick up some of this year's BotCon 2016 exclusive at the Roll Out Roll Call, The UK Transformers, G.I. Joe & Action Force Show going on July 8 - 10 in London, Heathrow, UK. The event has worked a deal with the Fun Publications folks to offer the Megatron, and Airazor exclusives in addition to their Terrorsaur figure to all Energon Ticket and Crossover Ticket holders at the show. This appears to be a pre-sell offer. So you will want to read on for the full announcement with promotional images, pricing and info on where to buy tickets.

Good news for all you Texas residents!! We will be hosting our very own Robot / Sci Fi themed convention here in San Antonio, TX!! We're hosting a bot themed convention set for 7 - 8 May 2016. From the folks that organized Alamo City Comic Convention (ACCC), we are holding a robot themed convention dubbed, Cyber City Con (CCC) here in the heart of Texas. .

The TFWiki has tweeted an image and link to a new trademark filing with the US Patent Office. The trademark? "HasCon" - which of course would be a useful name for a convention dedicated to all Hasbro products, not just Transformers. The trademark was filed just 6 days ago, right after BotCon, which also amounts to some interesting timing? What does it all mean, and does this mean that the CybertronCon name is no longer in consideration? No way to tell yet, but keep reading to see the details of the filing.

While at Botcon we naturally spent as much time as we could spare down at the Hasbro booth to see all the fantastic new and upcoming toys to look forward to. Besides snapping hundreds of photos of all the displays over the course of the weekend, we did a set of display case overview videos as well. The displays were split in two groups, one featuring Titans Return and Platinum, the other Robots in Disguise and licensed merchandise, with Combiner Wars crossing between both. We've split the videos accordingly, and you can watch both embedded below right now!

We were on hand for "BotCon Over The Years," the last panel of the last BotCon! Pete Sinclair led the presentation, reminiscing through his personal collection of BotCon photos and asking fans to share their own stories about the 22-year history of the social core of the Transformers fandom as it came to a close. Keep reading for details! UPDATED with some more details provided by longtime BotCon attendee Tim Finn!

The third annual BotCon panel featuring artist Hayato Sakamoto was held on Sunday, where he showed off some of his recent work along with notes on his artistic process and his approach to continuity in his work for Takara. Want to know why Legends Ultra Magnus came with a tiny Alpha Trion and why recent More Than Meets The Eye monster of the week Sunder looked like he did? Keep reading to see!

This year, Botcon attendees had a chance to purchase a sticker sheet to upgrade retail Combiner Wars Silverbolt, Prowl, and Ironhide so they could form a Magnaboss combiner along with Tigatron and Unit-3. Fun Publications has announced today that another run of those stickers will be happening for anyone who missed out. Plus, the Rubber Duckie souvenir item will also be produced again, and both should be available on the club store next week. They also added a reminder that the stickers include eyes for TM3 Megatron's dragon mode and provided a picture, which you can see below!

The last of our photos of the Melllvarr Collection finish off the Dawn of the Predacus Boxset. Ravage and Tarantulas are the non-red parts of the combiner Predacus, who we show off in both Red Arm and Red Leg configuration! Keep reading to see the rest of the BotCon 2016 boxset, and join us in thanking RFC's Matt for making these galleries possible!

Since seeing the first packaged samples of Titans Return products at Toy Fair this year, one lingering question has been presented: Where are the comic books? You may recall last year that the initial wave of Combiner Wars product did not feature comics, because an international packaging variant was used to move product to shelves more quickly. But we weren't sure if this was the case for Titans Return. During the course of Botcon 2016 I had the chance to ask Hasbro's reps, and you can keep reading to find out their answer!

Thanks again to Matt/Melllvarr from Radio Free Cybertron for the loan of his BotCon 2016 souvenir figures! Next on the list of still photo galleries is the first half of the Dawn of the Predacus boxset, the Tripredacus Council itself! Ramhorn, Cicadacon, and Sea Clamp are remolds and recolors of Brawl, Skydive, and Scattershot respectively. They're very, very read - keep reading to see just how red!

For everyone who couldn't make Botcon 2016 this year - or for anyone who did and wants a second look - we have the full presentation of the Hasbro Product Preview Panel here for your enjoyment. During this panel we saw upcoming items from Robots in Disguise, Combiner Wars, and of course Titans Return, plus a bit more. Most everything shown went in the display cases right after, but you should watch until the end, since one special teaser was snuck in that we may not see again for a while. Click through for the embedded video!

Once again this year, I had the opportunity to chat with John Warden and Ben Montano from the Hasbro Transformers team and pick their brains about both the newly revealed things this weekend, but also burning questions that we've been saving up for just such an occasion! We'd like to extend a huge thanks to the guys from Hasbro for taking time to talk with us both on-and-off camera this weekend at Botcon! And you can click the title link now to check out our interview video embedded below.

Our on location coverage of Botcon 2016 is winding down. We'll be bringing you more in the coming days, but for now we have the last updates from the Hasbro display, featuring the alternate modes of the SDCC Titan Force set, with Fortress-Maximus-inspired Windblade redeco, exclsuive to the set Brainstorm retool of Blurr, and clear Sentinel Prime, as well as the robot modes of the Technobots set, offering close looks at the headsculpts for Strafe and Afterbreaker. Keep reading to see them all!

Just before the doors closed on this year's Botcon, the TFCC display case was updated one last time to show the Transformers side of the upcoming club exclusive GI Joe crossover set. The clear Legends Class Megatron in G2 colors as a holographic projection, and Masterpiece Ratbat are both Marvel comics tributes, especially reflected in Ratbat's deco. Also seen were late stage samples of Ramjet and Skywarp, giving us good close looks atg the head remold. Keep reading and check them out!

Get a look at the images of all the news products now in the gallery below including the new Transformers Titan Master Wave 2, Combiner Computron, Autobot Heroes, ALT-Modes, RID Warriors, and RID Minicons. Keep checking back all weekend for more news, images, interviews and updates live from BotCon 2016.

Next up from Matt/Melllvarr's BotCon toy pile is Terrorsaur! The ill-fated Predacon features a new headsculpt on the Combiner Wars Air Raid body... but no HandFootGun. Guess it got burned up in the lava. Keep reading to see!

ExVee and RAC are still playing with Melllvarr's toys while he's at the Stan Bush concert! Next is Unit-3, a fully embodied take on infamous Beast Wars Happy Meal toy Under-3! Based on the Streetwise mold, Unit-3 is ready for his gritty 90s reboot with his police car alt mode and triple-barrel shotgun. Keep reading to see!

Our latest piece from the generously loaned Botcon 2016 collection of RFC's Matt, aka Melllvarr is Airazor. This figure is a recolor of the so far otherwise TakaraTomy exclusive Slipstream remold of Windblade, which featured a unique head and chest sculpts, and alternate weapons. Airazor is the lowest run of all the regular souvenir figures at just 750, leaving some Tigatrons sure to have to go without their companion figures. Keep reading to check out our gallery!
