TFormers talked to the Takara representatives at BotCon about the possibilities of seeing releases of Masterpiece Grimlock and Thundercraker. The reps said the figures are in the planning/production stages and it is a matter of when, not if, they will be offered for release. No word was given of when that would be, though.

The unofficial pacific northwest Transformers fan and collectors convention known as The Cybertronian Conference, aka CybCon, will take place this year on Saturday, August 23rd at the King Oscar Convention Center in Tacoma, Washington. Registration is required to attend the show. There is also a special "early bird" pre-payment period where the price is $5 per attendee, or $25 per dealer (includes one dealer table). The early bird special ENDS at midnight between March 31st and April 1st. After that, the prices jump to $10/attendee and $30/dealer until a week before the show. Prices jump another $5 at the door. IDW Publishing released their signing schedule for this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. So now instead of lugging around all of your IDW Transformers comics, you can bring the ones that you know will have a chance to get signed. Click through to see the guys who you will get a chance to see.
The schedule for the 2007 Comic-Con held in San Diego has been released and the non-surprising parties that will be attending will be Hasbro, Inc., Cartoon Network, and IDW Publishing. On Friday July 27th in room 4 from 11:30 to 12:30, IDW Publishing's Editor-In-Chief Chris Ryall will be joined by Cory Doctorow, Mike Baron, and Brian Lynch to talk about IDW's future products. On Saturday July 28th from 11:45 to 1:15 the "Transformers Entertainment Panel" will take place in room 6A with Hasbro, Cartoon Network Studios, and IDW Publishing. Continue through.
