The official Botcon Facebook page has posted a photo of the third mode of the Scorponok figure from the upcoming 2014 box set. In this image of the familiar jet mode of the Energon Scorponok mold, we also get out first look at the humanoid form of the Headmaster figure, a remolded Encore Spike, as revealed in our original coverage on this toy. Check out the images mirrored below!



Thanks again to griffin over at OzFormers who's been given permission to post the rest of the news and images he got at the Austrailian Toyfair 2014 that was held a couple weeks ago. He gives us additional details on the Transformers mini-figures from Goldie as well as details on the rest of the display and images of the retailers merchandising catalog that was given out at the show. Botcon.com has just been updated with the third of the boxset's five toys. Today we have Devcon, a retooled, recolored Generations Scourge representing the Autobot bounty hunter from the Generation One cartoon. Scourge has been a popular fan pitch for an eventual Devcon figure, and it looks like that wish has just come true! Check out Devcon's robot and vehicle modes, and a small direct look at the head model below.



Collectifest Is Only 7 Days Away!! Land of Misfit Toys presents it's first ever Toy, Comic and Video Game "Collectifest" on March 15, 2014 from 10am-7pm at the Hilton Garden Inn. Thousands of items will be for sale the entire day. Items such as Transformers, GI Joe, Masters Of The Universe, Comics, Games, T-shirts and novelty items, classic to current video game merchandise and a wide selection of Anime products.



Charticon 2015 has posted an update on thier site with news of their special guests that will be none other than Garry Chalk and David Kaye! The voices of Optimus Prime, Megatron and many others. They are also launching a new Charticon Club that will offer special access to fans who want to help build a truly fan-run Transformers Convention. Botcon.com has updated today revealing the identities of the first three guests for this year's convention. Revealed thus far are three voice actors from the Generation One cartoon: Susan Blu, known of course for voicing Arcee, but also as a voice director for more projects than we can list; Susan Blu, voice of Snarl; and Michael McConnohie, voice of Tracks and Cosmos. Botcon 2014 is only a few months away, and the reveals are sure to come even faster from here!

This year's Toy Fair 2014 has been filled with suprises in the Transfomers Generations like. We've got some nice figures to look forwards to this year. The highlights of the show include the Leader Jetfire, Voyagers Sky Byte and Roadbuster, and and the Fan built Windblade figure. UK Toy Fair news is beginning to surface and like most years, the good stuff is being held back for the USA Toy Fair coming next money. Following on our initial report, Paladone Products who are making the Transformers SD figures were there showing the first waves of 10 G1, 10 Transformers Prime, and 10 Dark of The Moon series figures. It seems there will not be molds from TF4 as originally announced. Get a look at the images by way of Idle Hands who have posted images from the show.

Hasbro has sent out a batch of official images of the cute and irresistible Transfomrers Bot Shots! The images include Transformers the remaining 2012 Bot Shots, such as the Starscream Launcher, Battle Mask Bumblebee, and Skywarp; as well as a sneak peek at the 2013 Flip Shot Bumblebee! These new figures will get better articulation and be a bit heftier. The four new types of Bot Shots are self explanatory: Jump Shots, Spin Shots, Flip Shots, and Blitz Shots. Hasbro has just pushed out some official images of Transformers KRE-O Kreon Micro Changers Combiners Superion, Devastator, Bruticus, and Predicus (we know) showing off all of the figures within each team with stunning clarity. These images are the same ones that were showcased at the Hasbro Transformers Brand Panel. See the official images after the jump!


The Tformers gang is live at San Diego Comic Con 2012 and we were lucky enough to pick up this little gem: the Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Bruticus! The set is an SDCC 2012 exclusive and features coloring of the figures that are accurate to the representation within the Transformers Fall of Cybertron game (read our impressions of the game) due August 21, 2012. We have a boatload of images for you to take a look at the unique packaging as well as all of the figures in their robot, vehicle, and combined forms.


We round out our coverage of the Hasbro preview night display case with additional images of the Transformers Masterpiece Optimus Prime, which still does not have a release date, and is based off of the Transformers Masterpiece MP-10 Convoy mold; we also have looks at Bot Shots; Rescue Bots; and the Universal Studios exclusives including Deluxe Evac. The second part of our walkaround of the Hasbro display area includes the Transformers Prime toyline. Not really any surprises here unless you count Thundertron, which makes its debut in October 2012 for $19.99. Unfortunately Ultra Magnus and Skyquake have not been sited, but be sure to check out the entire display in our gallery.


Robotkingdom was at BotCon 2012 and brought along some display-only third party products, including upcoming TFC Toys' Power Core Combiners limbs Iron Army and Perfect Effect's PE-DX 01B RC (Not Arcee). These Iron Army guys, which are designed to connect to PCC Bombshock, comprise of the two sets: Set A German Tiger-I Tank and U.S. P-51 Mustang plan; and Set B Japanese J7 Shinden plane and Russian T-34 tank. We learned of the PE-DX 01 series way back in January of this year. These figures are currently pre-orderable from Robotkingdom and will release in May 2012. TRANSFORMERS fans of all ages are in for a treat with the news that the iconic Optimus Prime Truck is visiting Ireland for the first time next week. The Eighties icon, and star of the recent Michael Bay blockbuster movies, will be at the Dublin Toy Fair at the RDS, from Wednesday, November 27, to December 1. Toy manufacturer Hasbro has recreated Optimus Prime by transforming a genuine Peterbilt big rig truck into a full-sized, chromed replica of the Autobots leader.


Savcon, now revamped for 2014, is catered to everyone.
