DX9 has shared some pictures from a small display exhibit of their upcoming items on Weibo. Notably this gives us a nice look at a color sample of their Gewalt figure, a Masterpiece-esque take on G1 Blitzwing. Though it's only seen in robot mode, it seems to favor the cartoon rather strongly. Some of the DX9's smaller items were also shown, including Mightron/Megatron, Leah/Arcee, Toufold/Kup and apparently the three pack versions of their Galvatron, Cyclonus, and Scourge. Toy Scope has posted on Facebook a set of pictures and a brief review of a near-final sample of Browning II, the next entry in the Fansproject Function X unofficial Headmaster lineup. The review mostly talks about the details of the transformation (watch out if you like to stay surprised on these figures) and a short run through of the articulation in addition to some quick, more general comments. Plus we got a number of nice photos out of it showing off the figure's two modes. You can see a copy of the review as well as the photos below!
On Facebook, Anthony Yeung has shared a quick few photos of Spinout, the unofficial Masterpiece-alike Sunstreaker from the Omnigonix group. These shots mostly concern how the figure compares with Masterpiece Sideswipe, both in robot and vehicle mode, but also show a comparison with Hot Rod for a little bit broader perspective of how this might blend in with official Masterpiece Autobots. You can click through to see the full album.
We have some color photos tonight of third party group "Second Chance"'s effort to make a Fall of Cybertron based Optimus Prime at something more like a Voyager scale. We're not sure how far along this is, but if it's at a color stage presumably this basically reflects the final product, and so seems to betray a noticeable lack of surface detailing. While a good effort is made to recreate the look of the design, it's unclear how much demand for an upsized iteration of this specific design there will be. Click through to check out the new photos!
From Mr Elljay on Weibo, we've got a nice assortment of photos showing off Pandinus, that absolutely huge, monstrous take on Scorponok from Maketoys. This item is very near to its release date, with an early testshot first having been shown off during the summer of 2015. These photos show a lot of nice detail of the large figure, including a side by side comparison to an original G1 Scorponok in robot mode. Keep reading to take a look at all the pictures!
It's always nice to see the unofficial toy world reach beyond G1, and newcomer Aplus toys seems poised to do exactly that. No details are available on A+01 MasterOrder yet, but what we do know is that he is based on Animated Dirt Boss! Keep reading for the photos as well as links to the group's Weibo and Facebook pages!
Having included a teaser with their reveal of an upgrade parts set for Combiner Wars Bruticus, we have tonight a series of photos from Transform Dream Wave of a prototype for a Defensor add-on set. While sharing a lot of the fundamental engineering with the Bruticus set, this features specific new parts for a Defensor chest plate that works similar to the stock parts in forming around the ladder in Hot Spot's robot and vehicle modes. But like Bruticus, the main selling point seems to be improved combiner hip jointing, just articulated hands and feet. Click through to check it out! Preorder yours at TFSource

Iron Factory is adding another entry to its assortment of slightly larger smaller figures. The new prototype revealed on their Weibo account is Lord Scorpion, a Scorponok figure made to basically match their Legends-size offerings. This is seen to have a base mode, as well as Headmaster functionality, packing in a lot of features in a relatively small package. EX-18 is described as the "comic version", apparently intended to homage the IDW appearances of Scorponok in particular. Keep reading to see the pictures!
The first video preview of the Desolataur prototype is up. Crowd funding will start on February 27th, 2015. Note: This is a resin prototype, so it literally wears as you move it. The final product will be made of high quality plastic, will be painted, and will have chains.
TFCToys' Weibo Page has posted the final color images of upcoming combiner limbs Warning Line, better known as Protectobot Groove, and Aethon, better known as Predacon Tantrum. These figures will form legs for Prometheus/Defensor and Ares/Predaking. See the pictures below!
FPcore have updated their site with the backstory fiction for their Recoiler and Riftshot characters that are part of the FPcore Project Ground Hammer. Get the insights on who and where these new characters came from with profile information on both of the Twins below for the full preview now.
Wanted to let people know that KFC are sending out free replacements for the problem-ridden guns for their Ironpaw and Nightstalker figures. Good on them for fixing this issue! "Hey! Fans of KFCTOYS. This new shoulder cannon will be shipped to the retailers very soon.including silver for CST-02J and metal gray for CST-02NS."
UPDATE. Dr. Wu just posted a poll on his weibo page, with numbers 1 to 9 and the following instructions (translated from Chinese with google): "MP police shoulder cannon made some settings, please vote choice, choose up to three per person." The latest work from harrisloureiro has just been posted to Youtube. This time the skilled stop motion animator presents a fight between Warpath, as played by Badcube's Wardog, and Astrotrain using DX9's Chigurh. We're always really happy to see new works from this producer, and this latest video certainly does not disappoint - except maybe that the video doesn't run longer! We have it embedded below, so click through and enjoy!
A video has been posted showing the process of upgrading Combiner Wars Devastator with parts from a testshot of the X2Toys add on. Interestingly while providing almost entire new forearms and hands, the kit still calls for the original wrist plates to be used with the new parts. Otherwise everything seems a simple matter of snapping pieces on during the combination process. The video was originally posted to the Miaopai service, but we've mirrored it to Youtube for easy viewing. Click through to watch!
A video was posted to Weibo by a user we haven't been able to identify just yet, showing a somewhat large figure based on Beast Wars Dinobot. Going by the way it's designed, we're assuming this is the work of an unofficial group, but right now any conclusion is complete speculation. The video is now mirrored to Youtube for easier viewing, and we've got it embedded below, so click through and take a look.
