From Weibo user bandaimaru, we've got a few shots of a prototype of Toyworld's unofficial Cosmos figure. What we expect to be Masterpiece scale (which in Autobot Mini-Vehicle terms means probably Deluxe-ish) is seen in full color, making the project at its current stage look quite good, for those to whom the design and proportions of G1 Cosmos hold a special place. The figure doesn't seem to have its own codename yet, and likewise it's maybe a bit too early for release info. But you can sure enjoy looking for now! Check it all out in the gallery below.

Maketoys has posted a new update on Facebook for the next in their RE:Master line of Masterpiece scale figures. We've got new color images of Contact Shot, their take on Targetmaster Pointblank. Various angles and poses of the robot are shown, plus an overview of the vehicle mode including opening canopy with driver compartment. And we get to see a closeup of the Targetmaster figure, plus alternate face and helmet options for the figure. We've got all of it mirrored, so click through to have a look!

Just announced are the MM-X Toro & MM-XI Coprimozzo Set featuring Unofficial Hubcap and Cliffjumper figures from from XTransbots. Toro and Coprimozzo are a pair of transforming street cars that are fashioned on a different, more sporty model, than the old VW Bug. Each of these figures stand about 4.50 inches tall in robot mode and feature die-cast parts and real rubber tires. Read on for more details below.

This evening on Facebook, Fanstoys has shared several images of a color testshot of their upcoming figure Phoenix. This figure is based on Skyfire and his almost entirely made up cartoon model which has not gotten much merchandise attention over the years. Phoenix is scaled for a Masterpiece shelf, leaving it towering over ...well, just about everything, going by the included height comparison shot! While release is projected in Spring of 2017, perhaps a color testshot being ready now could indicate an slightly earlier delivery? Time will tell, but for now click through to see the photos!

The Shanghai SGC event is happening this weekend, and we have an interesting look inside the MMC display. Specifically a few photos have been posted from their Reformatted series and while most of it is previously seen items like their unofficial Tarn, Roadbuster, or recently revealed IDW-inspired Megatron, we have one new reveal: A color testshot of MMC's IDW-based Rodimus. A prototype was seen at TFCon this year, but this is the first showing in color, and it looks like Mastermind has nailed this one. Keep reading to see the photos and photographer credit!

The official Iron Factory Twitter account has posted six images outlining their plans for 2017. Among those plans are IF-EX20 Wing of Tyrant, a really nice looking unofficial Legends-scale Starscream! That will be followed by versions B and V, Thundercracker and Skywarp, along with a IF-EX20F Fang of Tyranny set featuring Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet. All this, plus Sixshot, Bruticus, and more! Keep reading to see the images!

Relative new face to the unofficial robot goods scene Fans Hobby has undertaken a product launch event during this year's SGC event in Shanghai. The Master Builder Series is Masterpiece scaled figures from a range of inspirations, including the previously seen Arch Enemy (Black Convoy/Scourge), and its heroic recolor Gunfighter II (get it, "G2"?), plus newer items like their Monsterbots, and farther out projects like figures based on Roadbuster and Powermaster Optimus. You can check out Fans Hobby's own display case shots below - keep reading!

On this special RFC Extra: There's no regular show this week, so those of us available get together to discuss some recent news items and topics we've had on our minds. The guys weigh in on the HasCon versus TFCon dilemma. A conversation about the upcoming third party Omega Supreme (which is sold in two parts) raises questions about the sustainability of third party's current state. Is the third party bubble about to burst? The "Me Too" third party strategy is causing customer burnout, what can these companies do to survive? All that plus Chris shows off toys that Matt doesn't have on this special holiday edition of RFC Extra!

We're halfway through the TFSource Countdown to Black Friday! Day 3 is a MAJOR FansProject BLOWOUT sale! Items as low as $9.99 with savings up to 75% off on select figures at TFSource Black Friday Sale

If you're getting a bit of deja vu from that headline, you aren't alone. Toyworld is releasing an unofficial Optimus Prime figure called Orion, which happens to be the name of the unofficial Optimus they released a couple of years ago. However, this Orion is meant to join your Masterpiece shelf. TWM02 Orion (whose product number is even almost identical to the earlier figure) takes cues from the Studio OX designs that third parties love to use, so it at least looks distinct. Thanks to photographer Alucardlee, we have some great looks at this upcoming release, which you can check out mirrored below!

TFCToys' Weibo Page has posted the final color images of upcoming combiner limbs Warning Line, better known as Protectobot Groove, and Aethon, better known as Predacon Tantrum. These figures will form legs for Prometheus/Defensor and Ares/Predaking. See the pictures below!

So it looks these cannons are for Masterpiece Prowl, and he's asking the fans to choose the three designs he will make. Post your favorites in the comments below.

Japanese speaking YouTube reviewer Wotafa has just released his review of Demonicus Prominon, Mastermind Creation's Nemesis Prime-themed recolor of Seraphicus Prominon, their unofficial Nova Prime. Besides being impressively large, the figure - an exclusive to the Singapore Toy, Game, & Comic Convention - sports the always attractive "Nemesis" color scheme as well as a lot of vac-metal. Man, handle with care... keep reading to see the review!

Paik4Life has posted a video to Youtube showing off the testshot build of MMC's Carnifex figure that was on display at Cyber City Con last weekend. This long awaited figure based on IDW's interpretation of Overlord is shown off in robot and vehicle forms, though the transformation was not allowed to be filmed. However, the video gives a good overview of this huge figure, showing off its articulation and details in particular. We have that video embedded for you, so click through to watch it!

The latest work from harrisloureiro has just been posted to Youtube. This time the skilled stop motion animator presents a fight between Warpath, as played by Badcube's Wardog, and Astrotrain using DX9's Chigurh. We're always really happy to see new works from this producer, and this latest video certainly does not disappoint - except maybe that the video doesn't run longer! We have it embedded below, so click through and enjoy!

A video has been posted showing the process of upgrading Combiner Wars Devastator with parts from a testshot of the X2Toys add on. Interestingly while providing almost entire new forearms and hands, the kit still calls for the original wrist plates to be used with the new parts. Otherwise everything seems a simple matter of snapping pieces on during the combination process. The video was originally posted to the Miaopai service, but we've mirrored it to Youtube for easy viewing. Click through to watch!

A video was posted to Weibo by a user we haven't been able to identify just yet, showing a somewhat large figure based on Beast Wars Dinobot. Going by the way it's designed, we're assuming this is the work of an unofficial group, but right now any conclusion is complete speculation. The video is now mirrored to Youtube for easier viewing, and we've got it embedded below, so click through and take a look.
