At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, there were two Transformers exclusives. One was the hotly anticipated repaint of Alternator Mirage done as Hot Ro... ahem.... Rodimus. This one sold out pretty quick. The other exclusive was a repaint of the 6" Titanium Rodimus Prime done as Menasor. Read More

Sunstorm is done up in the War Within guise, sharing the delta seeker alt mode of Screamer and Cracker. The nosepiece is black, with the remainder of the jet being primarily yellow. Some orange accents show on the fuselage, as well as more black here and there. Strangely, these colors actually work quite well on this figure. Read Review.

This brings us to wave 5 of the 6" line, in which both figures of the wave are repaints. This review is for War Within Ultra Magnus. Ultra Magnus mimics WW Optimus Prime and assumes his Cybertronian semi mode. He is almost completely white, sporting some yellow headlights and various sky blue accents. Like WWOP, Magnus stores his rifle in the rear. Read Review

Not only is this the first UM figure in awhile to NOT be a straight repaint of a Prime, but is a figure that seems to fetch at least $40 on eBay... if not ALOT more. I was fortunate enough to score a Titanium 3pk on BBTS for a very reasonable $50. I have to deal with a duplicate Fallen and Megatron now, but was it worth it? Read Review

Forum Member Metrotitan let us know that according to the Toys R Us Japan website, they should be receiving some 6 inch Titanium goodness as early as Tuesday August 21! Offerings include: WWI Megatron, The Fallen, Starscream, Sunstorm, WWI and G1 Ultra Magnus...also looks like they are offering the WWI Prime/Magatron 2 pack a little later. They are listed as 2499 Yen ($21.50 U.S.) except for the two pack which is 5999 Yen. This is great news for collectors here as previously only a few hobby shops have been importing 6 inch Titanuims, at an average price of 5000 Yen! Check out the post and link at TFans.com.

One of the first released in the 6" Titanium line was a GI Joe derivative of Megatron. That figure was poorly constructed and almost impossible to pose. It also missed the mark of what the collectors really wanted, a War Within version to sit along side the Optimus Prime. Hasbro has now corrected that problem and released a War Within version of the Decepticon leader. Read Review

The Fallen has been perhaps the hardest one to locate yet. I thought I'd never get my hands on this one. Fate smiled on me, however. The Fallen is one of the original 13 Primes created by Primus to safekeep the universe. Things somehow went wrong, and The Fallen turned dark. With the influence of Unicron, The Fallen now works against his creator by trying to break his seal. Read Review
