Once again from the pages of Weibo we're seeing a piece-at-a-time leak of some upcoming toy art. While Hasbro was kind enough to recently officially show us a full art piece for Titans Return Fortress Maximus, the new slice of art appears to represent a different piece of artwork entirely, though at first glance it can easily be mistaken for just a mirror-flipped version of what we already saw. But there is a detail or two setting them apart, and maybe alluding to confirmation of an earlier leak's info. Keep reading!
Rather than mirror flipped, Fortress Maximus seems to be drawn in a similar pose to the officially revealed art, but leading with his left side now. Careful examination also shows that visible details are rendered differently even while trying to resemble the previous piece. But what really stands out is the sword blade clearly visible. It's unmistakably in the style of the Master Sword that came with Japanese G1 Fortress Maximus. A while back, a leaked image alleged to be an internal presentation slide for Fortress Maximus described an exclusive version with "premium deco" and exclusive accessories - including a sword. It seems like this art might be some measure of confirmation of that information, or at least that some version of Titans Return Fort Max will include a sword.
