Titans Return Trypticon First Look In Hand Video
ExVee - Saturday, May 27, 2017

Summer is fast approaching, and there's no better proof of that than early samples of the year's Titan Class figure starting to get out. We've got a quick video tonight showing off some of the basics of Trypticon's dinosaur mode, including a little of the leg articulation and deployable weapons, plus a transformation demo of Full Tilt. We were already expecting Trypticon to start hitting by July, and seeing finished production pieces like this just reinforces that idea. Click through to watch the video, embedded below. The Takara version is currently available for pre-order now at BigBadToyStore.com. The Hasbro version will be available for pre-order soon.

The US Toys R Us website has a product page up for Titan Class Trypticon, giving you the chance to go ahead and preorder. If for whatever reason you might want two, the current buy one, get one 40% off promotion has been observed to apply to this despite being a preorder, bringing the cost of the second down to about $90. Toys R Us also has an estimated shipping date attached to the toy, and it's a little bit later than we may have been expecting. Keep reading to find out more, and for a link to the Toys R us page!
Amazon has revealed the publication date and contents for volume 2 of Lost Light, as well as the cover for this second collection. Issues 7 through 12 will comprise this trade, and it's anticipated to be published on March 13, 2018. For reference, just today was the first publication of issue 7 itself. The cover art revealed in the listing focuses on Nautica and (the memory of) Skids, drawn by Alex Milne. You can find the cover art below, along with a link to the listing page!
IGN has posted a motion comic style trailer for IDW's First Strike event, launching in August. The minute-long video features scenes of battle between Transformers and the human factions before shifting in to the requisite infodump on publication frequency and which franchises will be involved in the grand project, all set to some mildly generic but decent music. You can view the video now, embedded below!
Megatron has left, and the Lost Light crew is preparing to leave the Necroworld. Decisions will be made, feelings explored, hearts will be broken. It never ends. After Megatron (A Dissolution Epilogue) is written by James Roberts with pencils by Jack Lawrence and inks by John Wycough, and colors by Joana Lafuente. This review contains SPOILERS, and might be best skipped if you have not read but intend to read the comic. It may also be worth skipping if you're a diehard fan of the book, because it explains why I'm not anymore. Click here to read the review
