Perhaps emboldened by the amazing success of Marvel's take on a shared continuity for its increasingly numerous movies and now TV projects, Hasbro has made known their plans to try this approach with the Transformers movie series. But what can we expect from this direction, and how might it affect Transformers 5? Keep reading for some thoughts.
In what may be remembered as the least surprising news of 2015, it sounds like Michael Bay will be returning again for the next installment in the Transformers film series. At CinemaCon, Vice Chairman of Paramount Rob Moore was said to have "promised" theatre owners attending the event that Bay was already in the process of developing the next Transformers movie. It has a ridiculous amount of equipment, all storable in its Murder Truck mode. And even articulated fingers - keep reading to see it all!
The TransformersAsia Facebook page has posted a wealth of images of the new Ultimate Optimus Prime, showing off what almost has to be the definitive version of Optimus as he appeared in Transformers (2007), Revenge Of The Fallen, and Dark Of the Moon. Featuring comparisons to the previous APS-01 release, Ultimate Prime features lots more paint and a tremendous loadout of weapons. The figure's due for release on April 24th but in the meantime you can keep reading to see the mirrored gallery of 43 images!
